1. I edited a 53+ minute video down to 1 minute, 45 seconds of out-of-context lines, and made a teasing post out of it — "what more do you even need to know?" — and reading the comments, I don't think anyone bothered to watch.
2. Meade has photographed people's dogs and posted the pictures on his Flickr page, and he encounters those people again, and they need to ask again how to find that Flickr page. They can't remember, even though they are pictures of their own dog.
What little twinges of gratification did the internet fail to deliver to you? Become aware of and experience the absurdity of these micro-sads.

I watched it, I watched it! It was Stream of Ann Consciousness to....and kind of funny for that reason. You need to do more of these....
oops..."to me"
It's interesting to me as I get older that I am more conscious about spelling...but then forget to put in whole words! Typingheimer's!
The Valentine's Day Ann montage of beauty and charm was super good, but I could not tell you how much I loved it and offend both Meade and my wife at the same time on Valentines.
I watched it, and I enjoyed it.
I just realized I hadn't put a link to Meade's Flickr page where I wrote "his Flickr page," so I realize that I delivered a micro-sad.
And that's another micro-sad for me.
Thanks for watching the video, to anyone who did.
I hope my statement of belief that no one watched did not make a micro-sad for you.
I'm having a micro-sad thinking that perhaps it did.
It might be time to bring back the unit of morale in the 70s, the milligiveashit.
Mega-happys for the Flickr link. Yotta-happys to see some of my fav fellow commentors on this sunny snow-covered Sunday morning.
What a mega-wonderful world.
From Last Night, My Notes From Watching It Reproduced Below:
Going into a bar to find someone seems dangerous
naughty and a little bit slutty
we think people can control themselves, hell no
people lose control of what they are doing
You need to get some before its all over
First: made Me think of "Looking For Mr. Goodbar." Maybe All of the Woody Allen Posts Put Me in a 70's NYC Film Vibe. Also made me Think of the Stones' "Shattered" For some Reason: Shoobee.
My Response was to Write Little Stories responding to The Pictures These Phrases Suggested, Especially the Inherent Despair in "people lose control of what they are doing" and "You need to get some before its all over".
You Inspire Me, Text or Audio.
My Micro-Sad is Again of the 'Pixels-Disappear' Variety. Shoobee, Again.
I watched it and I agree with Biff, you looked fabulous.
Also Betamax 3000 had one of his best comments.
I even wrote a comment late, but then I read it, realized I was drunk and deleted it.
So don't be microsad.
Another Micro-Sad: I'll Never Sit Across a Table from Althouse and Experience her Stream-of-Consciousness Flow in Person.
First There was "My Dinner with Andre."
Now:
"Betamax3000: My Dinner With Althouse"
(Don't Worry, Meade: You Are Already Starring in "My Life with Althouse")
Micro means 10^-6, or one-millionth.
If an incident is a millionth of a problem, it's safe to ignore it. There are bigger problems out there.
Re: "If an incident is a millionth of a problem, it's safe to ignore it."
If a Micro Mini-Skirt is a millionth of a Mini-Skirt I Don't Think There Would Be Any Way to Ignore It.
So Microsoft is actually Really Hard.
Dear Professor,
You know by now that we read this site for your insights and sparkling prose. We just aren't that into your videos.
Oh so negged by Oso Negro.
"You know by now that we read this site for your insights and sparkling prose. We just aren't that into your videos."
Was that supposed to be poetry — oh noes! — that rhyming disrespect, aimed at my prose?
"Micro-sads of the morning."
Just touch my cheek before you leave me, baby
Naked Bob Dylan Robot says:
Micro-Sad-eyed lady of the lowlands
Where the Micro-sad-eyed prophet says that no man comes
My warehouse eyes, my Arabian drums
Should I leave them by your gate
Or, Micro-sad-eyed lady, should I wait?
I did watch it, and I found it engaging. I thought that I would withhold comment on the material until the full video was posted, especially in light of the "what more do you even need to know?" query.
Instead, given the "lighten up" tone I thought I detected (perhaps mistakenly) in recent posts, I limited my comment to an entirely sincere, and, I hope, inoffensive compliment on a very well done hair style.
Besides, my dinner bell was ringing, which puts me in a state not unlike that of Meade's photo subjects.
I am crypto-sad at Althouse attachment.
I watched the video too, don't know why I didn't comment. Cute haircut! You look great fit and slim. I'm back to strictly lowcarb again, I gained 15 pounds eating real bread again, grrr. And Meade you are making a name for yourself, The Dog Man of Madison.
You totally guilted me into watching your video. But don't get micro-sad. It was fun.
Using the "word" microsad makes me sad.

What a mega-wonderful world.
Now I'm nauseous.
