"The most important photo of all White House photos."

"Michelle Obama: Realizing that this will look bad," the 2 Nonchalance Boys, the "BEST.DAY.OF.LIFE." Reporter Girl, and all the rest... including the tiny little girl that got killed by Obama's dog. Nah. She just got knocked down by the uncontrollable beast.

And you thought the government was an uncontrollable beast. No, the government is a happy, friendly, family dog. It wouldn't hurt anybody.

Poor Michelle. She really looks like a Klingon with the wrinkled forehead.

But to the point -- women seem to have a natural instinct to rush to the child who falls down while men tend to take a wait and see approach before intervening. The kid is more likely to cry if an adult rushes over and makes a big deal of it.

Here, of course, the pup scared the wee lass, and Michelle was responsible for preventing that, so her reaction is justified. The men and boys see Michelle is closer and already reacting, so no need to freak the girl out even more by also reacting.

Everyone OK? Great. Let's eat.

The unfortunate result when you crowd too much diversity into your photo op.

It's a photo-negative of Bull Connor at the bridge!

Is that racist? Well, it's no worse than the Koch references in the comments.

Because the beast has been constrained in our country many Americans don't realize how dangerous governments are. Many on the left know the danger and relish it so long as they are the ones controlling the beast so that their will shall prevail.

The picture reminds me of a Norman Rockwell scene. The displayed emotions are priceless.

I was just reflecting on this after redading that Obama's approval level among Latinos has plummeted by more than 20 points. Many Latin American immigrants have experienced left wing governments that were oppressive and/or incompetent. Perhaps they're not as gullible as other constituents of the Democrats'base.

Seeing tiny dogs push over children makes me laugh. This makes me a terrible person.

No, the dog in the photo symbolizes the uncontrolled assassination by drone and the little girl the 'collateral' damage by the drones.

And that is the government today.

Evokes this

All that's needed now is a fire hose like Twitter to get the word out.

Obviously Saint Barry is on to something with the blackout of press photographers!

If pool photographers were NOT allowed, this embarrassing incident DIDN'T happen!

I am shocked that he admitted to living with Uncle Omar. Who are you gonna believe, the drunk of an illegal uncle or Saint Barry the Provider?

Is it my imagination? Or has Michelle Obama been awfully quiet and low-profile lately? I'm surprised that the White House hasn't used her more to help bail Obama himself out from the ObamaCare disaster. I'm wondering if it was a political decision that she might not be a good face for the re-rebranding of ObamaCare, or if she has personally nixed any involvement with cleaning up the mess.

FWBuff sez: Where's Michelle??

Might be that little patient dumping scheme Michelle was involved in back in Chi-Town. Her experience as a health-care provider is something they might want to keep under wraps.

The Obamas clearly can't handle dogs; they're neither trained, nor capable of handling a dog. Sort of like an unlicensed gun owner.

But those pictures are a metaphor of sorts. You should never let people have things they can't handle; the best example of that is Sebelius and Obamacare. I might go further and say Obama and any problem more complex than a forty piece jigsaw puzzle--but I won't go there.

Historically, men would have just killed the dog, but that's not politically correct these days.

That is a poorly trained dog, and an inattentive owner. The early photo of the dog dragging Obama on a fully extended leash with Michelle rushing to help was a pretty good predictor of this.

It was sweet that Michelle gave the girl such a nice hug.

Apparently there is no shot of the kid signing the waiver.

Why are the faces of children at White House events never pixeled out?

Really? Sounds like a perfect Nanny state idea.

IMO the dogs are just props. Never got the sense of any affection by BO or MO for dogs/animals.

If such a mischance happened with a Republican President and a black child, the Dems would be luxuriating in metaphors. It would be endlessly replayed, puffed upon, analyzed and, in general, done to death. As it is, you will not see this image again after tomorrow.

It's obvious they don't give a shit about dogs. Surprising that they didn't have professional trainer....actually not so surprising.

tits...that bounce....with special, round, purple/mauve, silver dollar stitched nips.

Skeptical Voter said...

David--let's just say that where the public is concerned, Obama has internalized that line from the movie "A Few Good Men".

You know the one that goes "You can't handle the truth!"

Which gives the pusillanimous prevaricator carte blanche to spread his load of BS wherever and whenever he can. But then, your mileage may vary.
