IMO Drudge does take a position on news stories and sticks to it through the counter attack of spin storms of chaff.
That approach doesn't use nuance and deep analysis of an Althouse brain. That can be added later.
Drudge simplifies things for me and saves time. I can learn all that I need to know with a glance at his page.
