Exciting high school football playoffs here. Two nephews on teams in the playoffs. One lost a heartbreaker last week. The other, #1 in the State, is playing #2 tonight on local TV. They have players with college offers from all over the country. The other team has had spies at practice and even set up cameras atop the hospital next door. In the meanwhile, our guys are trying to hide the fact that their star is out with a broken leg. Every bit as dramatic as Friday Night Lights plus throw in Twitter for trash talking. Halftime our guys are up three touchdowns.

Come on gentle Eli, jump up on my lap and lick my face.
What state Christy?
And....dogs are the best!

This blog is going to the dogs
I think I saw that dog on a Sherlock Holmes episode, bounding and baying across the moor.
The male is NOT obsolete!
And boy, does he know it.
That really is an extraordinary photograph. Or an extraordinary dog. Or both.
That nice doggie is going to eat my heart?
From the look in his eyes, I would be more concerned about hiding my lunch.
Wow. Gorgeous photo.
