That statement is as mindfucking as saying that Matthew Shepard was actually straight. That idea would be strangled at birth and the person would be immediately destroyed.
I don't think I've ever heard of this person before today.
Googling "unskewed polls" yields a slew of links to left-wing blogs and news outlets. This makes me suspect he's "famous" in an Alex Jones or Dennis Kuchinich sort of way, i.e. as a guy who can be used to show what nuts the other side are.
It's not impossible. Why do liberals assume it's libelous to suggest he is? I never understood why Democrats felt it was necessary to be so coy about Janet Reno.
Why is it libelous to think that Obama may be gay/bi? Is it libelous to think that HRC is/was actively bi? Doesn't this topic come up over & over again, with the latest installment being the quote by Bill Clinton in Gennifer Flowers new book that "Hillary has eaten more pussy than I have".
Obama's per-presidential private life has been sewn up tighter than a drum, and aside from what he wants to reveal in his autobiographies, the press has done absolutely no investigating. Notice the utter lack of "I dated Obama in college stories". I think the press by now knows full well that they don't look because they won't like what they find.
YH, But so what? It may create some awkwardness with Michelle but it wouldn't move his numbers an iota in either direction. As with race, the Left has a vital interest in fueling the paranoia of those they would keep on the plantation. I personally don't know any conservatives who really give a shit.
Would it be homophobic to say with Obama we got two birds with one stone? remember?
Let me explain... if indeed Obama is president because he was an affirmative action hire (a highly theoretical notion)... if he is gay then it follows that the affirmation was even higher than originally imagined. Imagined because it's considered bad form to say one voted for Obama because of the color of his skin. That would be shallow.
But to say one voted for Obama w/o knowing Obama might be gay, is akin to republicans withholding favorable information that would have helped the president win the election by an even bigger margin.
I wouldn't be surprised. A cop friend told me years ago, most people would be shocked at the politicians, lawyers, media folks who get picked up diddling a member of the same sex in dark corners of public spaces. With enough cash and connections, silence, like the sex, can be bought.
Hegelian, there have been two "I dated Obama" story lines fluffed in the press. Back around 2010 if I recall correctly.
Could be good judgement in his youth on Obama's part. (That would be against the grain of the narrative; he was supposed to be a rogue back then.)
What I really want to see is someone doing an in-depth background piece on/with Reggie Love. There's someone who has dropped so far off radar that the ducks in the pond are looking down.
It's libellous because, in the liberal mindset, conservatives hate gays, therefore, conservatives use "gay" as a smear. For the final step, in a wonderful bit of liberal jiujitsu thinking fairly summed up as, "it's ok that we do it because they do it too, but they suck for doing it," liberals get to use "gay" as a smear and it's still the conservative's fault.
BTW, I've never heard of this guy either. It's possible that I heard about his website during the election and promptly forgot about it, but, in his defence, given what we've learned about Democratic shenanigans during the election, it's entirely possible that his unskewing was accurate, but it was also irrelevant.
Revenant: "I don't think I've ever heard of this person before today."
I hadn't either.
But I guarantee by the end of today there will be stories written about how this guy is the latest in a long and continuing line of "long-time leader of the conservatives/republicans".
I've not heard of this man either, but there have been rumors about both Obama and Rahm Emmanuel for years in Chicago. There's a section of Chicago called Boystown, which is an area in which many gays live. One of the "boys" has a website which has discussed the Chicago bathhouse of which Obama and Emmanuel were members. Apparently the membership was fact; who knows whether the rest is.
Let's not forget that there were several of the usual suspects at Althouse yapping about "unskewed polls" in order to defend their position that Romney was actually way ahead of Obama. At the time I chalked it up to denialism, but it could have just plain stupidity.
Just thought I'd mention for those Althouse readers suffering from amnesia, "unskewed" polling was discussed in at least a dozen Althouse threads last year.
It's very easy to find claims on the internet that Obama was a member of the "Down Low Club" at Trinity and that Rev. Wright steered him towards some good, discreet sex partners. The conspiracy theories center around someone who was murdered, supposedly because he was going to spill the beans.
Not saying I have an opinion on the actual truth behind these claims -- but this guy isn't claiming anything new.
Thought experiment: imagine that, after leaving office, Obama comes out. (Or is caught up in a scandal that requires he come out.) How do you feel?
My memory of the polls debate was that the Left said turnout would be the same as 2008 and D's would win, R's said it wouldn't be as high for O but turnout would be higher for Romney and he'd win.
Turns out it was lower for both, so wasn't both sides wrong in the polling? I haven't double checked but that's my memory of the debate.

"Not that there's anything wrong with that."

The only useful spinoff for this story would be riffing on the difference between "basically" and "actually"
Throw in "virtually" for the trifecta.

Ermm....if BHO is SECRETLY gay/bi, then his "conversion" re gay marriage is extremely newsworthy.
IOW, he lacked the balls to come out himself, whilst giving long-winded justifications as to why he "evolved", as if he were neutral otherwise.
(unless you want to go all disingenuous on us by saying that the thousands-of-years-old position on the matter is somehow an adversarial position.)
In short, just another in the ever-increasing list of his dishonesty and hypocrisy.
YOU voted for him, Ann.
YOU own him.
YH,

Kevin Dujuan nodded in agreement.
I couldn't care less; I tried but found it impossible.
Obama is busy fucking the economy to death.
About that I care.

Part of Mitt Romney's War on gays, no doubt.
A commenter over there coins "King Borrupt Hinsane Ostinko." At least, I assume it's original to him.
Some gay bloggers from Chicago claim he is.

Wouldn't surprise me.
He throws like a girl.
He may very well be crying for attention. That doesn't mean he's wrong, of course.

I hate jughead as much as anyone else , but really...who gives a flying crap if he smokes the pole? I got a lot more to worry about than that.
Jeez, it's like watchin' the friggin' Kardashians.

I have never heard of this dude, or unskewed polls.
I joked last year that th Pres. Would come out after he election, though.
Nothing new.
Drudge has hinted at this for years.
An article by Jerome Corsi from WND.
Things are unbelievable until they are no longer unbelievable.
Well. It would explain Michelle.
NTTAWWT either.
Typical...ridiculous statement followed by the usual defense for the cause.

Sometimes there is a correlation between the way people look and the way they think.

phx: "Sometimes there is a correlation between the way people look and the way they think."
Ouch.
Please do not say this within earshot of Henry Waxman and Rosa DeLauro!
It's always interesting when someone comes out of the closet. I always think...."oh, that explains so much".
I have relatives who live in Chicago, and they confirm the same rumors that LuAnn references.
But so what?
Gay or straight, his foreign policy is still a disaster and his domestic policies are nearly as bad.

And some polls are still skewed (if Clinton's detractors are to be believed)
I figured out Obama was gay, quite awhile ago.
The clues are there, if you look with an open mind.
I don't know if he is gay or not, but Jerome Corsi at World Net Daily has made a good case.

"Don't tell me his marriage to Michelle and having two children disproves that he's gay."
Just like Antoine Dodson.
heh.
