Season 38 of "Girls" — when all the "girls" are over 60.

I wasn't going to watch this — I saw it linked yesterday — but Meade insisted it was excellent, and it really is — but if you don't know the 4 female characters from the show, you won't get how great it is. The actresses do a phenomenal job of adapting the 20-somethings to the over-60 milieu. [NSFW.]

Genius!

I agree that Ab Fab is much more praiseworthy, but if you know who Shoshanna is and you don't hang on until the Shoshanna shows up, you're missing something.

That was horrid.

Though, I almost cracked a smile with the lobster.

A little climatic snapshot of the decline.

It's nice to see Laraine Newman finally getting some work.

I'e never seen 'Girls', so I started to watch. What no NSFW warning? I guess that should of been understood, but really I don't have cable. I'm so clueless with mainstream culture.

The sex scene gave me the beginnings of a boner which tells me I need serious psychological help.

I have enough issues with the modern women - this doesn't help. Even lesbians are getting tired of women now days. It's to the point where it isn't funny anymore, because the jokes are decades old. Being promiscuous, joyless, and self centered as a comedy meme is totally worn out. I understand it as a way of defusing the agony of modern womanhood, and thus it serves as a release for women, but it's time to move on. We could use some inspiring women in media about now. Strong, feminine, sexy, together women, especially single ones. There are appealing married women in media, but the single ones are all chalk on a blackboard.

BTW a blackboard is a thing we used to ... awww the hell with it.

"What no NSFW warning?"

Sorry. Will add one.

There's no nudity.

There's no nudity.

For which we are all grateful.

Oh, they were having sex? I thought it was a quadriplegic being mugged by a guy on PCP.

Note to self: Do not have sex - it's awful.

Oh, they were having sex?

He was having sex. She was having hot flashes.

Perfect satire, bang on.

Finally saw it, what no label for 'spanx'?

I'm not missing much, I guess.

The sad thing is that I'm sure that there are people who don't get that the characters are already just this pathetic.
