Ann,
I find it very annoying that you solicit people to buy thru your portal. Why exactly should motivate people to contribute to your personal wealth? I don't get it. It costs you nothing to blog, you do it for your personal gain...I'm not sure what that gain is (fame, respect, adulation, fun).
Does it cost you to maintain this blog? That I can understand. Tell us what it costs you, and tell us what you receive via the portal. A financial statement, so to speak.
Miss picky picky SJL is up early this Saturday.
I demand a financial statement from SJL. Does it cost SJL to comment on this blog? If so how much? Does SJL get a reward for commenting on this blog? Some form of personal gain? Maybe 35 profile views for example.

She could do that. Or you could just blow it out your tailpipe.
OK, I admit it. If I had such a successful blog, I would take advantage of it and make some $$ by having people use it to buy products. After all, that's the American way.
Hats off to Ann!
Building up a successful anything and making money. Wow. How unfair is that? People should stop doing that.

Thanks to everyone who used the portal yesterday. And thanks for the comments.
I sympathize with you, SJL. I feel the same way about American Idol threads. They're tacky and annoying. And the worst part is the guy with the gun who makes me read them.
I bought the teak bench.
And even more I think Ann needs the money because she invests her valuable time and talent her. She has paid subscriptions, e.g. the OED. Otherwise she could be defending some deadbeat Madison low life and being paid by the state.
Nice bench. Thanks, FleetUSA. The O.E.D subscription shall continue at least one day longer:
