Better be careful about letting pictures of yourself find their way onto the internet. The pitchfork mob might draw lines on you, graph which way your eyes are pointing, then accuse you of terrorism.

That whole spectacle was sickening. I need therapy. Which means blending 6 ice cream snickers bars with a half gallon of chocolate soymilk and watching YouTube videos of amateur strippers falling off their poles. And there are a lot of those on youtube.

Looks like Rev Jeremiah was right.

I think that was today's theme.

Chickens.

I particularly like Ann's use of the word, dreary, to describe Lurch. I think the next 4 years are going to show us how we ducked a bullet in '04.

Coke, what chocolate soy do you use?

The Blonde needs it because her calcium is a little low.

Whatever kind. I'm not a soy connoisseur; I have testicles. But normal soy milk tastes like pancake batter, which is like a small miracle because it's the first concoction that is less fattening than it tastes. I've always wanted to drink pancake batter as a beverage, and now I can. But in moderation.

Silk's brand is good. This half-gallon I'm presently drinking is Simple Truth Organic, which is Kroger's God-you-people-are-fucking-stupid-what-you-won't-buy-soy-products-unless-it's-labeled-organic? in-house brand. It's delicious and has 30% DV of calcium per 8 ounce glass. Let me check to see if it's labeled gluten free, which is another God-you-people-are-fucking-stupid marketing gimmicj.

YEP! "A GLUTEN FREE FOOD."

That should be a good game. A Superbowl-winning QB against one who hasn't won the Superbowl.

edutcher said...

OK, thanks.

Probably someone blending six extremely fattening ice cream bars into their soy milk doesn't possess the most delicate palate in the world.

But Silk's brand is good. Get that one.

Why is Roy Orbison taking a photo of us?

Bob_R said...

She'd have to make another trip to the hairdresser to look like distorted Roy - even with the sunglasses. And she couldn't sing as hag as he could.

Mercy.

Baron Zemo said...

That's not true dude.

She can sing as hag as anyone.

Take that back.

Maybe she is home crying because Janelle got sent home from Idol?

Love the posts today -- favorite being the list of lame duck quacking and with really bad metaphors at a funeral, of all places. Did the teleprompter betray him? et tu TOTUS?

Exodus... thou shall not have other idols before the blog.

You reflect, I distort.

Thinking of the courage and dedication it takes to suit up and jump in at a fire in a fertilizer storage yard.

Enough to make a strong man weep.

It could be - but I bet you were humming Springsteen's "Glory Days" to yourself as you wrote that...

A cursory examination of the record shows Chico's Aaron Rodgers 0-2 against the San Francisco 49ers in the last two games.

It also does not appear homefield advantage played a decisive role in the outcomes either, seeing how the Niners won by 8 in Green Bay, and then by 14 at home.

Ok, so yeah, maybe homefield advantage is worth six points.

Let's not talk about the Gosnell murder trials anymore. Instead, let's follow Yale's lead and raise awareness about personhood protections for apes. Let's be fair.

You made it to the G's?

Gentlemen, please. Both teams will bow before the greatness of Eli Manning and the New York Giants.

Tim said...

And, since we're talking football, 2013 will be the last year for Candlestick Park.

I remember the first time I saw the 'Stick - my father took me to a Dodgers game when I was about 7 - and it was very nearly a religious experience.

Mays, McCovey, Marichal. Just magical.

Lots of amazing things happened there, and I was fortunate enough to see some of them.

Few know Candlestick Park hosted the last Beatles concert, ever.

Anyway, while the place has unforgettable memories, it's a complete dump and needs to be scraped off the face of the Earth just as quickly as is reasonable.

I won't miss it.

The immediate past suggests not.

But that's why they play the games.

And, playing a second place schedule in the rebuilding NFC Least certainly does help matters for your boys though...

Sequester cuts... that's what happened.

Baron Zemo said...

Excuse me baby but what happened last year when the Giants played the Niners and the Fudge Packers.

As I recall the Giants played both teams and kicked both their asses easily. So are we dealing with what happened or the season that you played in your mind.

It was just unfortunate that the Giants couldn't play them every game so they could go undefeated.

I just hope that the arrest of the ricin mailer doesn't lead to the stereotyping of Elvis impersonators. Elvis impersonators are for the most part law abiding citizens who have served our country faithfully in peace and war.

Good. There was always something interesting to see.

As I say, calm down.

(I seem to be saying it to everybody today)

There is reported evidence by the FBI of suspect #2 setting a backpack down. Not so of the walking lead suspect.

Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) wants to regulate gunpowder.

Jesus wept. Did someone turn on the stupid tap in DC this week?

People have been making gunpowder for over 2000 years. It's not exactly complicated. Potassium nitrate, charcoal and sulphur. Hell, I've even made it!

This week is getting real old real fast.

It's been on for 5 years.

PS Good one, Chip.

Spare me.

You have to play the schedule.

The Giants did.

Finished in 2nd place, out of the playoffs.

Right now, though, they are champions forever in their fans' own minds.

You'll always have that.

Should be interesting to see if GB'S Defense steps it up this year. Big opener against Tim's gang, Sunday night against Baron's Giants. Sounds fun.

I still feel spoiled by thr Pack. They sucked for most of my life.

I don't care much about the NFL, being more of a college football fan, but I am beyond thrilled that Colt McCoy got traded away from the Cleveland Browns dumpster fire, and picked up by San Fran.

The folks at Reason Magazine observed that it is generally harder to NOT have things blow up than it is to create things that blow up. Even flour blows up, as we've seen.
