Were those the worst looking clothes you ever saw on Project Runway or what? How could they not have done the bike shorts thing?

Abby wins the Dog Show, paws down. If you can get into the Althouse heart, all things become good.

Will Zeus adjust?

Abby's probably the best-looking and least bitchy of any of them.

As someone with OCD, I don't know how you deal with all of those cords.

The dog helps.

They obviously didn't have enough time, but it's edited so that you don't get to hear them critiquing the structure of the challenge. It's like the contestants are failing... what about the show?

They had one day. Now, why both teams decided to go with suits, I do not know. It was ridiculous to take on jackets and tailored items if they didn't have time to make them right -- especially since they had no experience doing men's clothes or tear-off clothes and these men had really abnormal measurements, unlike the "clothes-hanger" models they usually work with.

I think the producers were trying to stir up drama. Maybe they were told they had to do an executive look and we didn't get to see that. It's pretty unfair to the contestants to make them work under these conditions and then shred them for screwing up when that was pretty much the plan, I think.

The whole "teams" idea is about making the dynamic bitchier.

Those are almost exactly the comments I had when I was watching it.
I wondered where they got the idea it had to be business wear because I never heard anyone say that. If it as edited out that makes me even more angry at the producers.

If it was done for drama they missed by a mile, all it did was make me pissed off at the people who came up with the challenge.

Really? If some cords bother you, how could you deal with the dog hair and drool?

Ha! Think that dog's drooling now, just wait another 6 months or so.

It's not the germy Howard Hughes kind, but the 'a place for everything and everything in its place" kind.

Clutter kills!

I have 2 dogs, one a Golden Retriever who sheds a LOT.

our dark hardwood floors have paw prints all over them every day now. I cannot wait for summer when the yard is dry.

OCD is one of those things where different things have different effects.

I'm willing to bet there are almost as many variations as there are people who suffer (and that's the correct word) from it.

My wife and daughter watch "Project Runway" religiously. As good looking as Heidi Klum is, I've never watched one complete episode. She provokes too much crying and drama. I think she enjoys it, too.

Wait'll she goes into heat. A bitch that big will packing some heat. Expect Zeus to be nosing around.

Addendum - Zeus drool.

Further Addendum - They will be some ugly pups. Labernards.

I've seen pictures of Zeus' backside. If he's nosing around Abby in heat, there will definitely be a certain wistfulness to it.

Re: OCD.

I can easily handle a sloppy mess, it is just the doorknob that must be turned in the right sequence.

I cannot stand sheets of paper to be stacked parallel and square: I know it is the third page down, with the corner out just so.

Please don't touch it.

I see how you first sit in your chair every day at work: always a slight turn counter-clockwise, then back towards the monitor.

Every day, and you don't even know.

From my experience, a dog will attach to one of the two families, regardless of the amount of time spent with either. It's a dog thing.

I trust Abby's owners understand this. You may end up with a permanent beast on premises, Ann and Meade. And one unhappy neighbor.

wow, you still have those box TVs? I thought I was the last one left.

I have been a Hamster and a Baby but still no Gatsby. It is like Ann is toying with me.

@Mark - Poor Zeus. One of the great elements of being a live sentient being is the ability to reproduce and the attendant joys associated. Zeus has a wide range of emotions he experiences and to be denied the most important is surely cruelty to an animal. To live without possibility of ever reproducing would be a hollow life.

Her fuzzy face in the top picture is just adorable. She is looking with love at the blogress.

The eyelids alarm me. Is that normal? Safe? Require extra care and/or monitoring?

See you are sitting stresslessly on Norwegian wood.

I have the same chair in the same color. Only non-ikea piece of furniture I own.

between the tv and the dog, one clearly deserves more attention than the other.

The Professor has gone to the dogs.

Or did someone already say that a couple weeks ago?

That was a dumb challenge including the lack of time. However, I couldn't stop laughing once the runway show started, but I am pretty sure that the producers weren't trying for that type of comedy with this challenge. I wish they would drop the team concept and just get back to making clothes and giving the contestants enough time to make them.
