Oldest known wild bird gives birth at age 62.
I'm more amazed that people are capable of keeping track of how old wild birds are, but it seems to be just a case of a bird with an old ankle tag that got noticed giving birth because it's in a wildlife refuge on an island.

Here's a chance to have another little Althouse.
"Giving birth", strange way of putting it, but I suppose laying egg sounds less of an amazing feat. A change of life egg.
Now I'm wondering do birds go through menopause?
""Giving birth", strange way of putting it..."
Funny. I hadn't noticed that.
Bird lays an egg ... is silly news, but it's the lead story at The Washington Post.
Oldest known bird. However -- man knows very very little about the life spans of such birds.
Tote That Barge

After that it's a piece a' cake;

No being should be giving birth after 50.
Gross.
No sex either oldies.
Uh oh Titus you only have a couple years left.....
She looks great. I'd hit that...I mean if I was a bird,... or had a bird's brain,... or his organs or bird thingies, or .....oh just forget it.
SQUAWK!
Wisdom is the Susan Sarandon of Laysan Albatrosses.
3M miles traveled, wow.
Albatrosses tend to hang around.
Yes, we do.
Like we Boomers have been saying... 62 is the new 26.
Hey did you see "Watch What Happens Live" last night?
Brandi Granville revealed that this bird used a surrogate.
