As an artist, I am compelled to spray paint that turtle with my "Tastes Like Bait" logo.

Discuss.

Poor little thing looks like he's on his back and can't right himself. I feel sorry for it.

I cannot wait for the San Francisco 49ers to visit Lambeau Field, Sunday, September 9th to administer a beat-down of Chico's Aaron Rodgers and his boys in green in yellow. Going to be fun.

edutcher said...

Doncha mean Lambert Field?

;O

Tom Spaulding said...

Tim, it's true: You cannot wait for something that will never happen. :)

And it's not going to be "fun" for the 49ers.

(I hope this post is not yanked for implied violence against the fine 49ers team and their fans).

Some bad things happened at a Sikh Temple in Oak Creek this morning. Doesn't sound good.

Well, it gets Oak Creek in the national news, and how often does that happen?

Nope. The Green Bay Packers are going to turtle, just like they did against the New York Giants.

Yeah, a new season and all that, but that Packer O-line will be as useful as the Maginot Line was for the French in May/June '40: not at all.

Rodgers Buffet for Justin Smith, Aldon Smith, Ray McDonald, Isacc Sopoaga, Ahmed Brooks, et al.

Who's the Packers back up QB?

Hope he's getting reps.

'Niner D-Line better hire defense counsel - child abuse charges are most certainly coming after the game...lol!

Bastards jabbering about your damn football...help the poor turtle!

Oh, but the real bastard is the turtle sculptor. With the feet flat out and the head and tail raised like that, the poor turtle can never be set right. It won't be able to stand.

Some mofo with clay deliberately set out to bring a crippled hopeless turtle into the world. Caning's too good for him. Or her.

Yeah, try to abuse that child-like reigning MVP who is coming off the greatest year of any quarterback, ever.

Harrell is the current back-up, as all of the others we have had going through our Elite QB System over the years typically have gone on to starting gigs with lesser teams: Detmer, Pederson, Brunell, Hasselback, Flynn, etc.

Latest Drudgetaposition:

Serena Williams does "Crips Walk", which was seen by Sheila Jackson-Lee as the "Crip Marswalk" as evidenced by the "Curiosity" Mars Lander, and Curiosity, as we all know killed the cat which was Black hipster slang for "cool guy", which Michael Jackson was until he used a missile-like needle to inject drugs in his body until he was flat on his back like the runner at the Olympics, while Dirty Harry (Reid) looks askance at kissing lesbians, whose cause hasn't got a chicken leg to stand on.

That about cover it?

Second best, I think you mean.

Hearing the line "for the teachers" makes me sick now.

My dad's teaching contract has not been renewed for the next year. Despite being an award winning, highest credential possible, teacher working with low performing students in juvenile halls and community schools--the ones the school system left behind years ago. He teaches them to read, then Shakespeare and Dickens and other classics.

But, he's over 60 and has been in the system for a while. So he and a bunch of other older teachers are let go. Because the county of San Bernardino and the city are millions of dollars in debt. he has friends in Orange County and LA county dealing with the same problem.

These counties are getting rid of their most experienced teachers--not at all concerned about the quality of teaching. They have lawyers as a group, but it'll take a long time to fight this, and meanwhile, no income.

California, where Democrats rule and teachers by the hundreds and thousands get laid off.

Screw the Democrats and their rhetoric. They hate teachers. They hate the poor. Democrats leave behind waste and ruin wherever they are actually in charge. All while smiling and making it sound like they have the high moral road.

Rabel-

You're right. What I meant to say was "Which player do all of the other players consider the best in the NFL?"

And again your guy comes in 2nd.

Flamingoless yards are a little sad.

When I'm in one, a thoughtfully plain meditative graceful grounds, say a Zen type garden, I visualize flamingos all over and cheer the place up.

Domo is like that. Except for a fatal flaw. Two flaws, but I guess they're not really fatal. You cannot have everything at once. You cannot bring all of Japan into a back yard. Just a flavor of it. The idea is always to reproduce nature on a smaller scale. You cannot have NATURENATURENATURENATURENATURE crammed into one small space and expect that to work. Still, what the guy did there is very clever, and he makes it all work by force of will.

The other flaw is a complicated menu that is basically quite simple but you have to analyze several additional different color different size pages to understand that. Too many additional choices that alter the original plain menu. It's like Tuesday junk mail day. It could all be on one simple page.

Gone are all the little side relish things that made going there so interesting, in their place are uninteresting regular relish things and mostly ramen.

No flamingos outside.

As long as the poor know their place.

Yeah, my boys beat him too.

I'm sure you all remember this?

I'm still curious about the presidential hypothetical posted on the 3rd. We were promised Ann/Meade thoughts.

Sorry that your father was treated that way, Paddy. That's a shame.

@wyo sis. sorry I haven't puy that up yet. Will have to do it tomorrow.

I will say Barry Goldwater plays a big role. And Nixon is never President. Bobby Kennedy is one of the Presidents.

And Nixon is never President

I still say that the attempt to impeach Nixon was enough of a motivating influence in Hillary's life that, without it, she never cultivates Bill to run for Pres.

Freeman, thanks. It's a hard and frustrating time, to be sure, but I have hope. Frustrating too, but the hope is slightly ahead at this point.

Reading the Exodus narrative is always helpful, both in giving help and in warning against letting the grumbling take over.

I'm probably the most frustrated still, though, with the people who claim hope but only bring more bondage and loss. They're not where our hope comes from.

Yup. Thats what comes from following a False Prophet like Obama.
