A Tea Party rally in Wisconsin this evening.
"The Constitution Made Easy"...
It's a book. I talked to the author, Michael Holler.
ADDED: At Meade's behest, I take Holler's "Constitution Made Easy" quiz.

Yes, GONE is what Romney and GOP will be after the plan implemented by the Obama-Biden 2012 team. You can read about it by the Game Change author in NYMag.com.
Folks, it is over for the GOP and Romney.
There is not a thing you can do to prevent the great POTUS to win re-election. We are in the CORE (COmmittee to Re-Elect) team. We know what you do not know. We have felt the victory already. We have smelled the victory already.
Support us. Join us. Be the destiny generation. Come and you will be a hero.
America's Politico might like Paris in the springtime. Socialism will be in bloom by then.
Is AP a Borg?
God Bless Timothy Dolan.
Hopefully, it was warm there, too.
But, yes, that's how those awful Tea Partiers act.

Ever wonder what happened to Baghdad Bob?

Did you explain to him that you make good money teaching ConLaw and that you would like the Constitution to remain as-difficult-as-possible-thank-you-very-much?
@AP typed: We have smelled the victory already.
Have you been sniffing your fingers again?
"Did you explain to him that you make good money teaching ConLaw and that you would like the Constitution to remain as-difficult-as-possible-thank-you-very-much?"
I think the project of making the Constitution accessible to everyone is great. I haven't read the book yet, but I acquired it... as will be seen in a video I'm posting soon.
Uhhhhhh.. Althouse said forbearance.. Uh huh huh huh.
Look. I prefer coffee.
If that pisses you off too much...
I'd think you just might have a bigger problem than I personally care to deal with.
That America's Politico screed is sorta campy, but still messed up.
Going to it's profile and then to it's webpage takes you to a twitter account that has never tweeted and follows 2 things, the NYT and the Wash Post.
It may very well be a bot, with the text pulled from some screed of advertising for Game Change. it is sorta bizarre that you leave it up there in the first reply spot
attn America's Politico -- I think what you meant was Committee to ReElect the President (CREEP)
It was going to say, that looks awfully peaceful and orderly for Madison Anti-Walkers!
Then I realized it was Tea Partiers.
I am watching Greta and she has on WI Lt. Gov..She has a funny but quite an engaging face. There are all these articulate and smart looking republican women. Where are the Dem ones? We don't see any elected faces on TV save for that irritating Wasserman-Schultz.

I always figured you as gin or some other clear spirit.
We're all of us "clear spirits", honey.
We just don't all see eye-to-eye.

All that man-hatred tends to sour a woman.
And OBTW, chicklit, I saw you agreeing with me the other night about the similarities between the Tyler Clementi case and the Zimmerman case.
Thanks for the sugar, mister.
Am I phat yet?
ha ha
"Support us. Join us. Be the destiny generation. Come and you will be a hero."
And all the Kool-Aid you can drink.
I've already tried sweetness, Penny
I still think about that conversation because it clearly was a hard one for Palladian, whom I respect.
A sea of old white people. Lovely.
He's usually Mr.Objectivity here at Althouse.
Just not that night.
A sea of old white people. Lovely.
We don't approve of racist commenters here.
What's with the self-hating white queers around here, anyway?
Pink and pleasing young Andy R was bitching about the white man's privilege elsewhere today, and now we have lily-white porn promoter ZPS dumping racialist denunciations of a group with whom he'd easily blend.
I don't get it. I never look at crowds of people and immediately splutter about its racial composition. Is there something wrong with me?
No matter how objective he usually is, his personal pain of growing up gay was rendering him nearly worthless on this topic.
My respect for him almost made me want to lose my own objectivity.
Cripes, all of a sudden I feel like I was gossiping.
Which I abhor!
Was merely a timing thing, Palladian, and "Hello"!
I still think about that conversation because it clearly was a hard one for Palladian, whom I respect.
There are no "hard" conversations in a blog comments section, at least for me. These threads are a place to play, lightly or vigorously, with ideas, but I never leave deeply affected by what transpired.
I've been decried as a phony because I've described my contributions here as a "persona", but it's precisely this sort of unattached play that makes this medium fun. It's a place where one can toss out half-formed or prickly or even slightly disingenuous ideas, just to see what happens, how people offend and defend.
But it is not a place to lay one's heart and soul bare.
I never had any pain growing up gay. I had pain growing up human.
Trying to move us both past this very awkward moment, are you aware of your subjective, personal experience, side?
lol OK!
You are aware of your medium!
And playing it.
Fine.
The medium is the massage, Penny.
What I was trying to say was this...
You appeared to lose your objectivity when we were talking about a young gay man's suicide.
It seemed to me you had a need to place blame and were in search of retribution?
You know? Like an entirely TOO HUMAN response.
Cut me a break with the McCluhan quote.
ha ha
We NEED more mediums!
Would at least slow down Bloomberg.
Look.
If you are saying that my concern was misplaced, that makes me feel better.
I made my comments from a "hovercraft", but not unaware that sometimes I hit a bull's eye I never meant to hit.
Yo Penny , Hey Palladian,
For the love of God get a room......
Back on topic,
Looks like a lovely rally, sadly some of had to work.
Ha ha, ed.
A gay guy and a hetero gal to get a room to..."talk"?
It's why we're both here, silly!
We got a room to "talk".
So I guess you think we're talking too much given so many eyes?
Oh c'mon people--no way American Politico is for real. It has to be schtick. Good one, AP! Got quite a chuckle over that!
TITS!
Sorry, Sam.
You hang out here long enough you are BOUND to something.
Last time I checked, it wasn't your "morning glory"...
Or did I come too soon?
Zachary Paul Sire: Are you familiar with Wisconsin and it's demographics at all?
"A Tea Party rally in Wisconsin this evening."
Perhaps better titled: "A Tea Party rally in Dane County Wisconsin this evening."
Three union people with signs briefly sat and watched the group gather, but left around starting time. The seemed listless.
My guesstimate had crowd size around 250. Not bad for 6:00 on Friday night with hellish traffic backups on both the beltline and university avenue. My subjective demographic gauge: barbell of younger and senior, with few middle-agers. An affable yet blinkered group (as is typical here) to find others of like stripe here in the belly of the beast.
Speakers included: Lt. Gov Kleefisch (sp?), Tim Phillips (AFP Prez), Vicki McKenna, Wisconsin AFP guy and maybe 6-7 more whose names I don't remember. We departed toward the end after the AFP bus driver spoke. :)
It was a good rally with many in the crowd expressing genuine enthusiasm for Scott Walker.
AP: the ONLY way you win is via massive voter fraud.
Get your ID's ready.
