Unity rally?

Called off!

Our casual assessment of yard signs in Madison says anti-Walkerites have resigned themselves to defeat. They've already attained closure. It was enough to force Scott Walker into a recall election. He's been unsettled and harassed. No point saying they're actually supposed to win, then, is there?

Considering how wound up they are at Townhall that this is a preview of November (I think that's a little premature), your news must have them dancing in the aisles.

PS Did you see Prof Jacobson's piece about how the Walker fans should remember to vote tomorrow so this guy that dresses like Abe Lincoln doesn't steal the nomination?

I doubt they ran that idea by Garage Mahal.

Lori Berquam told people not to go.

Nope. They've cost the taxpayers a whole lot of money, caused some trouble, and now that they're losing, they slink away like they had nothing to do with any of it.

Behaving just like the liberals here.

Their group behavior is the same no matter where they are,...

The Daily Kos reported that it was called off because Tom Barrett didn't want to risk being seen with all of the union leaders. Not that the Kos is a reliable NEWS source, but since it's a left-wing rag...maybe it's onto something here.

Despite their civil discussion during the debate last Friday there are rumors of friction between the Falk and Barrett camps. Now it remains to be seen if the unions will throw their full support behind Barrett after pledging it to Falk and urging Barrett not to enter the race.

So at this point do you expect Scott Walker to ultimately win the recall election? Most of the media reports (and I confess I'm worlds away in NC) suggest it could go either way. . .

So they spend all those bucks, got the government to spend all those bucks, and for what?

That money wasted did not grow on trees and SOMEONE had to pay for all this stupidity.

Who? Wisconsin, that's who. Keep it up and you guys will make Greece look good.

Since Glenn is on vacation, I guess I'll have to do it.

There's something wrong when you can't unite around unity. Someone check to see if a gathering occurs at the Tilted Kilt in Rockford.

I wouldn't be too sure about Walker's slam-dunk chances. The trend line doesn't look too good.

The sound of one hand clapping was heard there.

At least one lefty is going to say something stupid. They will be excited and maybe slightly intoxicated. The Republicans should have a couple of infiltrators with video cameras.

Here in the Appleton area. a casual review of yard signs shows Walker in the lead. I haven't seen a yard sign promoting a Dem yet.

Same here in the Mt. Pleasant/Racine area, Nomadic100.

There are tons of Walker yard signs around and probably an equal number of Recall signs. But I'm yet to see a yard sign for an actual Democratic gubernatorial candidate.

The libs have already won by disrupting everyone and causing a perpetual campaign to be the new normal. It's continuous warfare, nobody gets to rest for a moment.
