"The weirdest thing about the rumor that Kim Kardashian gets paid $10,000 for a Twitter endorsement is..."

I think the weirdest thing is that people pay attention to Kim Kardashian.
She is so effing hot though.
Eyeballs (and ears) = dollars. How is this weird in any sense. It is how most commercial media has functioned in this country for a century.
Why is it at all surprising a porn actress is willing to tweet for money? Is the implication she's thought to be rich enough that 10k is a paltry sum?
They also feed the Twitter stream with old media.. with trash talk video, resembling wrestlemanias.
There is a video of Snoop in which he appears to trash Kardashian.. some people, mostly the young, eat that shit up.. Tweet-it-up?
If $10,000 is too much for anybody, I'll do it for fifty cents.
Since I didn't think Twitter was going anywhere to start with and still don't think much of it, my opinion probably doesn't count but once this kind of thing starts it now means its not cool.
Not that caring where someone ate lunch was ever cool.
Who is this Kim Kardashian of which you speak?
The saying used to be that I wouldn't cross the street to see such and such a star. My disinterest is such that I wouldn't even click a mouse to watch her fuck on the internet....Still, she makes a lot of money. Those of us who believe in the free market should respect her talent even though we cannot identify precisely what that talent is.....Snooki is the real pioneer, however. I understand that several luxury lines are paying her not to use their products. "Nice little handbag, you have their Mr. Coach. Be a shame if I had to throw up in it on my show."
'Snooki is the real pioneer, however. I understand that several luxury lines are paying her not to use their products...'
The real pioneer in this realm is Elizabeth Warren, who paid for college by keeping her clothes on.

On this we can agree. Hawt wimmenz, the unifying force in the peen-o-verse.
This could lead to cynicism
The people behind this endeavor seem delusional.
Of course Charlie didn’t write those tweets himself. No celebrity does. Instead, they’re composed by hungry young tweet ghostwriters whose job it is to broadcast a celebrity’s voice in 140 characters. Says Ad.ly CEO Arnie Gullov-Singh, “Consumers react positively to organic authentic messaging.”
