Green Bay Packers, still undefeated.

That's Aaron Rodgers, just now, doing his "Justice Prosser" imitation.

This team reminds me of the NE Patriots of a few years ago. Invincible throughout the regular season, then gets punched out early in the playoffs.

Hope that they don't choke in the SB like the Patriots did.

Well, the year that the Pats didn't get vinced in the regular season they made it to the Super Bowl.

I have a $100 bet riding on the field against the Packers this year for the Super Bowl. Easy money. This super-great team was 10-6 last year and needed to win a few games in a row at the end of last year just to make the playoffs.

Nothing against the Packers. The greatest franchise in sports. But there seems to be a myopia these days in everything.

It's from the verb, to undefeat.

Nice to see things going well at Senator Kerry's favorite stadium, Lambert Field.

How so? Did they already have the playoffs?

From his Wikipedia bio: Aaron Rodgers "considered quitting football to study toward law school."

And we thought you were joking.

Reminds me of Vince Lombardy! When really good football coaches not only made the difference, they made great copy.

Carol, its Lombardi. Ugh.

You're funny, Ann!

It was an excellent game, that's for sure!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I think we should hijack this thread to express our thanks to Ann and Mead for all the work that they have done over the last year to make Althouse Blog such a great place to hang out, be challenged, informed, entertained and enlightened. So let's make it a great big group hug from Garage to Crack, from C4 to Trooper from Carol to Freeman and everyone in between let's have a rousing standing ovation in thanks and gratitude to our hosts.

Thank you. And note that I am not criticizing Justice Prosser. Rodgers is showing how you can do a whole choking maneuver on somebody's neck in a friendly, appropriate way.

Be careful, of course. Rodgers is very good with his hands. Don't think you can do what he does just by watching him demonstrate!

@Jeff .... sorry it was last year. NE Pats finished with the best record in the AFC (14-2). Lost in first round.

Rodgers is good, but no Brady (yet).

Ok, you've convinced me, the Pack will be unbeaten in the regular season only to wind up with one loss to the AFC Wildcard team; not to shabby a season at 18 and 1.

Hear, hear!

Ann should pick up an award for Grande Conservative Bloggress Diva.

Or something of like magnitude.

@Caplight. I completely agree. This site is addicting.

Plus, I glean info for use as ammo on other blogs.

Just a great read.

Hosts?

Are you suggesting I give Meade the keys to the front page?

OK, come on all you conservatives, here's a Wisconsin dirty hippie liberal group hug and a big fat wet Commie kiss, muwhaaa!

Meade has the key he wants already.

What if the Green Bay Packers moved to Hershey, PA?

The Hershey Packers, with new head coach, Jerry Sandusky.

I actually like the Pack (have since Taylor and Horning), but they got some referee love yesterday.

Ouch.

Ref's sucked.

I'm sorry but having grown up in the 60's there is something deep inside me that dislikes the Packers.

I do like Aaron Rodgers though, low key, high skill and team player.

Heh! I sometimes think I should send you a dollar for every time you make me laugh.

Green Bay's definitely similar to last year's Pats, although I give the edge to the Packers' defense. At least they've got Mathews and Woodson to make plays. The Pats secondary couldn't stop John McCain's mother from scoring on them.
