If you think about it, the Eternal Flame is quite a swipe.

I saw the logo yesterday with Steve's profile as the Apple's missing "bite" (er, "byte"?). It's killer.

Someone should pay the young man who designed it and put it on t-shirts. I'd wear one.

@Robert Cook That is one of the images at the link.

Are the editors at the Daily Beast so out of touch with "popular" religious symbolism that they mistake St. Peter at the Pearly Gates as God? Yes, it looks like it. Sigh.

I agree. Saw it last night, it's the best I've seen.

They forgot the one with some...heavenly Being--perhaps St Peter..or the Boodha--greeting Jobs as he approaches the gates of eternity, and St Peter...gives him his first computer science test...

FORTRAN, Mr Jobs? No. C? No . How about even binary?? No, says Mr Jobs. I was an artist, designer, entrepreneur, EIIIEIIIIIEEE! screaming...as St Peter casts him into hell, in the realm of the bogus and the fraudulent

That's what I think, too, Pogo. Maybe someone who is more of a Mac fan than I am would see it differently...waiting for Jobs to reappear. But that's just kind of weird.

XKCD is awesome.

You need to go back and follow the link to the image, and hover your mouse over the beach ball to see the message.

ritamac is right...many times the best part of xkcd is the mouse-over. If it didn't make sense before, it will explain my bit about Jobs reappearing.

Um, not bogus or fraudulent...Jobs was an artist and this is why Apple changed the world and is not Dell or Acer or some other shit pc manufacturer.

Byro Suckpuppet aka Cookie the bogus trotskyite --you know about as much about computing as you do about literature--ie, a null set.

And you didn't understand the comment. Jobs himself admitted he was mostly technologically illiterate. Besides , any authentic ..gauchiste (ah, another one to google) opposed Apple for their labor practices and elitism (and MS and most tech.corps)
