The middle picture is just begging for a Chip animation.

"Lovely photos, Prof. I hope someday your photos will be in a museum exhibit."

Well, Meade took 2 of them.

"The HuffPost says Steve Jobs wanted to help the POTUS in 2012. It would have been great."

It also says Jobs told him he'd be a 1-term president because his policies are so unfriendly to business... and that the teachers' unions should be busted.

See the next post.

Nothing - nothing in the Seventh inning of the 2nd game of World Series Baseball.

Did I tell you I love this game?

There's an epic quality to them and you look as if you're calling down the heavens themselves.

But to what purpose, Madame?

On behalf of all us mortals, use your power wisely.

Remember the sorcerer's apprentice.

It looks as it zombies shall attack, they shall... Steve Jobs could very well be one of the zombies. I do sincerely hope you are armed and ready.

The Texas hitters are getting impatient, swinging at the ball in the dirt.

That never works.. unless you a Blad Gerrero.

Something that was said earlier in the week has been rattling around in my head.

What if AP and Carol Herman and Titus really were some of Ann's noms de net, and she used them to vent her frustration and outrage at her loyal commentariat when we just didn't see it her way?

Think about it - all the protestations of cruel neutrality, her professorial bearing, her usual ladylike demeanor must get awfully hard to control when, like the rest of us, somebody succeeds in what The Blonde calls "getting on her last nerve".

It might also save some wear and tear on Meade.

Although he might like her like that.

Remember the old Duke Wayne line, "You're awful purty when you're mad".

Great, but her head should have retracted, too.

Chip, nice!

Though if you've taking requests for other versions (e.g. edutcher) maybe one with showers of sparks coming out of her finger would be interesting as well.

I like that - the sorceress' apprentice.

Meade must love you, he photos you so pretty. A beholder's eye.

The fist photo is very 'King Lear' (madness on the heath). You should put out a tabletop photography book called "My Wisconsin" or similar.

Nicely put.

I was out for a walk with my 3 year old and saw that. The clouds were even more interesting where I was at near Cambridge (WI) and I thought about running back to the house to grab my camera. Decided not to as it was just too big and awesome to get in one frame and I wanted to stand there and appreciate something for once instead of spending the time capturing it. Sure enough, just about when I would have gotten back, a big jet stream appeared and marred it. Glad I just watched it.
