How on earth did you forget that it is International Bacon Day?

You must be mistaking me for Instapundit.

Tyrone Slothrop said...

That's true. Actually, I forgot, too, or never knew, but Insty didn't forget.

Looks very cool and tranquil there.

Is everybody else north of the Ohio cooking, too?

I'm glad we're not tested on what's growing. Or I'd have to say "marijuana leaves." Or else it's what hangs on the Canadian flag. Which would be maple. But then I don't see a tree in this forest.

I'm gonna buy some stuff on Amazon. How do I give Althouse credit for the click through?

Ann Althouse said...

@bago box in sidebar. Or "contribute" link in banner. Thx.

"How do I give Althouse credit for the click through?"

Is this a joke?

You seriously don't know that you simply put your search in the Amazon box on the right side of the main Althouse page?

Sprezzatura said...

Ha ha.

Three minutes, and then she swoops in for the sale.

Cool.

BTW

Thts the thing it was attacked on 9/11..

NYC was attacked because of what it represents - the ultimate freedom.

let's not forget that..

Ultimate freedom to - withing reason - have a good time.

The professor ended a post a while back with "everything is going to be all right".. if not literal, something to that effect.

I think I believe that.

I'm new to brown nosing. I prostrate myself before the glory your extensive experience.

Maybe it's the clouds of pot smoke blowing in from my next door neighbor's party, but I seriously don't see any search box in the side bar.

Windows 7 / Firefox 6.0.1

No problem though. I got though via the masthead link.

It's a box that says "search Amazon.com:"

And, it says "keywords:"

If you type the item that you want into the "keywords" box you'll go to that item, on the Amazon site.

You can be sure Althouse is getting credit because the http: address will include "Althouse" along w/ all the other gibberish that you usually see in an Amazon address.

Once you're at Amazon's site I'm not sure if additional searches are credited to Althouse, even if you don't go back to the Althouse portal for each item. That is, I don't know if you must go directly from Althouse's portal to each item. I've always assumed that it's safer to go directly from the Althouse website to each item. Maybe this is unnecessary. I dunno.

Anywho, I'm a Mac, w/ Safari. Maybe that means I'm seeing something that you're not seeing.

Sounds like a repeat of last night's video.

The body suit on the guy flying into the clouds made him look like he was the abdomen of a butterfly in flight. That, or a large larva wishing for a pair of antennae with the famous Monarch Navigational System built in, up and running. It was amazing to see.

Went to the mail box to retrieve yesterdays mail, and someone threw a plastic quart container of Mountain Dew at it, and smashed in the side towards the back which blew out the back of the mail box. The Mountain Dew hadn't even been opened. Crazy. Probably union goons.

I'm going to make the Amazon thing clearer in the masthead.

It's a cool morning, with the wind out of the NNW. I just noticed that the barn swallows are gone.
