Libya isn't Egypt! Libya has a small population. And, if you haven't figured it out, already, it seems Qadaffi is considered their ruler. The people weren't asking for change.
The "rebels" are from other places. Funded by the saud's.
How come we don't see this kind of fighting where it belongs? In Saudi Arabia!
The rebels got into Tripoli ... because NATO (and US), was looking for tank targets.
That's how the "rebels" got in so easy. Now? Maybe, they're stuck?
Maybe, with civilians protecting Quaddafi ... taking over Libya isn't on par with getting Mubarak to fall like the Shah?
The rebellion was started and funded by Europeans, especially Germany and France, who have decades long heavy economic interests in Libya.
Gadaffi was a threat to those long standing interests. When he was a sponsor of terrorism France and Germany were mute. Germany was selling him high tech weaponry at the time.
At the end of the day it is all about the oil and the money. No one cares about the people.

Rhhardin's celebrity dog uses the scent skill that he needs to stay around for a long time...exactly like Mohamar does.

Actually, there's a drawing of Khadaffy Duck (which, of course, I can't find).
And it really captured the essence.

@Crack You deserve deletion for that. Don't go up first, reject the whole post, and use it as an opportunity to promote your issue (and your blog!).
The standard for posting first (or close to first) is higher. I'm putting up these posts for a reason, and you are not entitled to appropriate the space for some completely other purpose. Wait for a café post. They come up regularly. To post to say "I don't care what you say, I have something else" is unacceptable.
Over at REDDIT, there are pictures of the leaflets NATO is dropping on Tripoli.
Oh, yeah. Al Jazzera has it at up at their site.
Just what you want to tell citizens who've come out to fight for their country!
It's like DSK. We side with the losers!
Pick your stinky cheese. Oh. And, if the cheese smells like the bottom of your feet? Gonna taste the same way. In frawnce, this is prized.
