She made the mistake of claiming rape, a criminal offense, which meant that the state took over responsibility for prosecuting DSK and she was left with no way to stop the proceedings when all she wanted was for DSK to pony up some greenmail.

What you see in this article is the LAWYER Thompson (the woman's lawyer), countering the charge the DA wants to make ... in that no crime took place ... Because the witness is a lying illegal alien.

Cyrus Vance's chances of being elected to a second term as DA has probably been shot to hell and gone. (Why? Because in NYC you need to win over lots of Black voters.) As to the elites? It's a ballot cast in private. Lots of elites will "say" one thing ... but it doesn't mean they will go "en masse to Oslo" so to speak. Our elites like the protections offered.

And, tend to have no use for corrupt cops. And, incompetent lawyers. Expecially when they're given badges.

The DA has also had to deal with Thompson. Who has withheld Diallo from further questioning. He says "they are close to a deal," where the DA shows him the actual transcripts of what transpired in the 3 or 4 phone calls Diallo got from Tarawally ... who can only make outgoing phone calls from an Arizona jail. Where he is being held for deportation.

As to the DA's evidence that this woman had a lot of bank accounts, you come back to the reality that those bank accounts were used by Tarawally ... and that Diallo cannot read or write!

Doesn't mean she wasn't raped!

What happens after the DA tosses this case? The lawyer Thompson will hit DSK with a civil suit. For money, and a lot of it, there will be no court case.

The lawyer Thompson has no faith in New York City's DA. But he just flexed muscle.

Because Thompson can't retrieve any actually tapes.

What got printed? It's not on any tape! It's a "summary."

Now, why would the elites want to erase the maid's reputation? "Doesn't she know who she is?"

They say that since Cyrus Vance came into the DA's office ... and started to push his political choices around and IN. And, Morganthau's old staff out ...

That it's been a SNAKE PIT.

As to the cops ... They're the same ones that were tasked with providing security to a witness against Alberto Anastasia. And, the witness was tossed out of the window (from his safe room), at the HALF MOON HOTEL.

Will there be a civil case?

Well, one will be filed.

Then, DSK will have a choice. To settle. Or not to settle. His money.

Diallo's story may make it into a book? May even make it to a TV SHOW. Oprah might come out of retirement to launch it.

In that interview she claims that she was in fact gang raped by soldiers in Guinea. After the rape, they made her clean up the rape room. Here is the larger crime. For the DSK case, she and her followers will demand justice. For the gang rape in Guinea, they will shrug their shoulders, like it was some kind of tragic natural event like a flash flood.
