She was essentially cracking a joke too. My joke was supportive of her joke, and I think she did laugh slightly.

Throughout the diavlog (as in most of my diavlogs), I am trying to get my interlocutor to have fun with it.

Lincolntf said...: About 25 years ago, the girls at the local high school started doing quirky dyed/shaven styles with their hair. Kind of a corollary to the boys "skate" style. Anyway, back then, the self-consciously flourescent hair, deliberately making oneself look "non-traditional", etc. was kind of edgy and hard to pull off without looking like a fool. Nowadays, there's nothing more uniform and boring than the style employed by Watson.

Let's face it, this whole proposition in a elevator car is less than a tempest in a teacup, and ought to be dropped for the sake of Ann's integrity as a respected blogger, if for no other reason.
