Bushman of the Kohlrabi said... What would we do without Dane County judges to run the state?
does anybody think that, given she didn't concede with a 7000 vote deficit, that regardless of the outcome of the recount, she won't take this to a Dane County Judge, claiming that the seals were broken and whole bags of vots, most of which were for Prosser should be tossed?
The plan is to keep the WSC at 3-3 for most of the year. Thus when the Dem's find a union friendly trail judge like sumo, it would be overturned at the WSC
This is what leftards do Ann. Didn't you know that? Well actually you do, but I think you choose to give them a pass because, well, you have to hob-knob and work with many of them. They are wasteful and they never stop in the face of certain defeat unless they can cheat their way into power. That's who they are. That's the company you navigate through.
They do this so that they can have faith in the system. I heard Kloppenburg say that repeatedly in answer to various questions. For without a complete recount faith will be forfeit but by a complete recount faith is affirmed. Ask any question and that is the answer you'll have, like a bolloxed MP3 file, recount = faith in the system.
Like this:
But the gap is so large, "Faith in the system." The expense is not worth it. "Faith in the system." The Brookfield tally oversight was an honest mistake."Faith in the system." I stubbed my toe. "Faith in the system." Your mother wears Army boots. "Faith in the system." Okay, I can see that you're stuck. "Faith in the system."
"In a democracy, the people get the government they deserve"
We do not live in a democracy.
True democracy would mean simple majority rule.
@Dadvocate
Indeed, the legacy of the democrat party is waste, fraud, and abuse. The truism is highlighted every time the dems do their best to 'include' the repubs in their misdeeds, in an attempt to justify.
@Chip Ahoy
"Your mother wears Army boots. "Faith in the system."
LOL, this makes more sense than anything the dems are saying...
"I get the math," said Melissa Mulliken, who ran Kloppenburg's campaign. But she said the Kloppenburg campaign believes there are enough serious questions about the way ballots were handled - she called them "significant anomalies" - that it will make a decision after the recount is over about whether to pursue a legal appeal.
I know that much of their base will be delighted to see the insanity continue. I wonder what the rest of WI will think...will their be a bcklash in the recall elections?
After the recount and Prosser is declared the winner, there will be an attempt for a recall. Possibly a call for another election because of the closeness. This is not going to end any time soon.
When I went to vote, there were two individuals in the parking lot of the townhall trying to collect signatures to recall Harsdorf. Their biggest issue? The closeness of her win. That was their justification for the recall. They also had a problem with Walker. "How can they represent us with only a little over 50% win."
Letting these recalls go forward with no evidence of malfeasance is beyond me. If Republicans or Tea Party people keep winning, I'm afraid this is all you are going to see. Debt? Deficit? Not a problem according to them.
I'm hearing a new prayer responsorial for the Progressive liturgy. Brothers and sisters, let us pray.
For all those running for office s a liberal or progressive: Faith in the system.
For JoAnne Kloppenberg and her campaign director:
Faith in the system.
For all those counting holes in ballot bags: Faith in the system.
For all the bureaucrats, regulators and other general pain-in-the-ass government toadies that flow from their Nanny State legislation: Faith in the system.
For all those sucking off the teets of the government in return for Democrat votes: Faith in the system.
For guaranteed outcomes with minimal need for fraud: Faith in the system.
And above all else, for the Children: Faith in the system.
Don't worry about destroying your state budget, Wisconsin businesses are welcome in Texas. You can keep your school teachers and doctors, but we'll welcome the professor.
Yes it is odd that Waukesha has so many problems including unsealed ballot bags, but none of this would be a problem in the first place if things were up front and transparent from the beginning.
One by one, in a state where no plaintiff pays legal costs, each of 10,000 complainants files suit against poster "Reagan" requiring him to file or face default judgemnts.
You might htink this an abuse of the legal process, and irresponisble abdication of your duties as a citizen, but poster Reagan knows better:
"Quit bitching about it. It was a legal process. Lot's of them are wastes of time/resources. If you don't like it, lobby for a change in the lawful process. "

Oh, I disagree. The recount is providing the would-be protestors with false hope. Go, recount, go!
The law is the law is the law.
What would we do without Dane County judges to run the state?
In a democracy, the people get the government they deserve
What else does Klopp has going on? It's not her money.
Like the Wisconsin 14 being "heroes" for just delaying things.
Eh.
I do not get it. Please explain it to me.

US, out of WI.
Too radical?
"US, out of WI."
This. We're involved in too many third world banana republics already.

Sounds like they are building a detailed record of the recount. My inner conspiracy theorist wonders who this will benefit.
It's for the children. Isn't it?
You mean, "the pile" on the desk of a clerk "up in Dane County?"
As if a boost of 8,000 votes wouldn't be met with a world of hurt.
Who writes the PR? The same jerks that appeared in Obama's "Situation" room? Ready for the next situation, I suppose?
Oh, the "bags with holes," have holes so small Osama's left eye couldn't fit through 'em.
Maybe, you have to hire lawyers to make sounds of desperation?
Otherwise? Klip Klopp ... could be done with cows hoofs.
Someday, the "size of the holes ... will be shown next to Obama's "last" picture. Picture show?
Probably easier to get Bin Laden.
You know, it looks like they "bagged" a roomful of jurors. Delighted to have been chosen to sit for months and months.
What do they earn, minimum wage?
Do they get hot meals?
We live in a nation that provides hot meals to the elderly.
Here, as long as they don't slop their slop onto the ballots ... they can probably stay employed, here, till summer.
What's gonnna be the adjusted count when it's over? Didn't the "farts" guy pick an uptick of 11?
If the count comes off as unrealistic ... everyone in this room will face "counting problems" until the day they die.
They'll be asked by everyone ... "how much is 2 + 2?
Even union putz's would be very careful about publicly coming in with high numbers that are made up. Or "FALSEIFIED."
Retake: Probably easier to get Bin Laden. At least the outcome is more certain.
You expect efficiency?
So much waste!
The Democratic legacy.

That is what government does. Wastes money.
The WSJ article is titled:
"Kloppenburg has gained little ground, faces immense odds "
How about:
"Kloppenburg will still lose by thousands of votes, faces bitter reality"
Clear the Kloppenburg Cluter!
thats two t's.. sorry.
Waukesha gets more time
Affirmative Action has gone too far, again. What's next, county-norming?
This is how unions operate. It's not about fairness or majority rule any more.
wv: biticsis - some sort of gaudy flower, I'm guessing

The Democrats call this the "pretrial" phase.

Good point, seeing as though dems are obsessively concerned with 'outcomes' (see - education, for starters), I would have to concur.
Elections are for chumps.
Remember, its not how many votes are counted, but WHO is counting the votes (hat tip to Peter Bella!).

Quit bitching about it. It was a legal process. Lot's of them are wastes of time/resources.
If you don't like it, lobby for a change in the lawful process.
Or is that what you are doing? It is a fine line between enticing the echo chamber to increase page views and effective lobbying.
Absurd. stop the recount already.

Get right on that poster Reagan.
We only think we know the outcome.
If we give them long enough, the outcome will change.
