At the Magnolia Café...

P1080715

... I'm just trying to eat my pancake... and come up with some Monday morning posts. Talk about whatever you like. Tell me what I should link to over at Instapundit. Or here.

(Photo taken yesterday, at Longnecker Garden. You do know about the longnecker conspiracy don't you? There were lots of mothers there too!

When I hear "Longnecker" my first thought is of Herschel Bernardi yelling at Charles Martin Smith in "No Deposit, No Return." -- My kids loved that movie!

The true longnecker conspiracy has to do with the unseemly proliferation of aluminum cans.

I thought it was about the long necked sand hill crane on the railroad tracks that became the symbol of resistance for those who opposed the Milwaukee to Madison high speed train. Thus they are called Longneckers.
Clever of Althouse to act as though she doesn't know about the Longneckers when in fact she is deep into the movement.

Yeah. There's lots of bars and restaurants named Longnecks or Longneckers.

Lots of longneckers in Africa.

What a freaking circle jerk.

You post on Instapundit, linking to Miss Attilla, who links to YOU and then you re-link to Instapundit.

Seriously. Derranged.

I'm not amused and feel like you are treating your blog readers as if you think we are idiots.

Hope you are making lots of money.

I went to school with a guy named Longnecker.

Little guy. Nice guy.

PS Gorgeous shot, Madame. Nice to see you get away from those horrible union people and concentrating on the important things.

Come on, Dust Bunny, don't you need another vacuum cleaner, with a 10,000 watt generator to run [it] during the monsoons?

Besides, you get a really nice picture of tree, and that ain't chop-liver!

Further north in this great state of WI the box elder tree leaves are the size of squirrel ears and the barn swallows have finally returned...spring is coming...

Was just reading on the Freakonomics blog a posting on the govt. crackdown on on-line poker and Levitt's "daughter test" he applies to gray area government prohibitions.
