The thing is, it's not really voters who feel they voted wrong after seeing the guy in action and now want to fix their mistake. It's the people who lost that election trying to get a do-over.
Say what you will about this horribly frustrating process of democratic governance, at least competing mobs aren't breaking into each other's compounds and beheading people willy-nilly.
Take note - this is what happens when pride takes over a people: the insatiable need to "win" becomes the only issue and all other considerations fall by the wayside.
Whether or not the city burns becomes irrelevant.
Whether "we" won and/or "the other guys" lost becomes everything.
Imagine if at your job, to be fired, your boss would recommend it, and then the employees voted on it. I think this would work well. It would solve a lot of problems including claims of wrongful termination.
"So if Prosser wins today, does the game wind down, or does the Left double down?"
I have no idea, but that was the first question that crossed my mind when I woke up and realized the date. Anyone up in WI know when we'll have "unofficial" or official tallies from the voting? Do we have to wait until all the polls close to get numbers?

Kloppenburg winning is still only unofficial as of right now, but once the polls close later we'll know how many car trunks will have to be searched in order to make her win official.
I just returned from voting. In the parking lot was a man and a woman with a big sign "Recall Sheila Harsdorf". Did you know that she's trying to balance the budget on the poor and working families? Did you know that we don't have a budget deficit in Wisconsin?
I am predicting a Prosser win. I think there is a silent majority of people who really don't like the unions and protests etc...
Wisconsin is now building a reputation of a place where Unions will protest your business, where Unions can control the government and force higher taxes. If the Unions are able to overturn elections in the next few years, it will hasten the decline of Wisconsin - why would someone ever start a business in Wisconsin? When you can start a business in at least 25 other states with lower taxes (because they don't have to pay for union salaries and benefits) and no union protests or violence.
IN the 1980s, we in Wisconsin wrere able to look down on people in the south and west as hicks, knowing that we could maintain our economic dominance with our sophistication and education. But that is no longer true. For example, the University of Texas is now higher ranked than the UW in the latest US News poll. Again, why would a business ever build a plant in Wisconsin. What benefit is there when you could build in Texas or Florida or Georgia or Arizona, etc...

I'm working on my "Recall Kloppenburg" sign, just in case.

Keeping up with the Smirches.
They bring a knife, we bring a gun.
This is how wars get started.
