I think car color choice varies slightly around the world and the three top choices are silver, white and black.
Don't really understand mixing of pigments. When I go to Home Depot they take a can of white and add a few different other colors in small amounts to produce the color you want. I thought white was a mixture of the primary colors and black was the absence of color.
So American industy is incapable of making black in adequate quantities?
Could one of the worshippers of the exalted narcisstic sociopath kindly explain why it is ok for him to go to Brazil and promise them $2 billion in our Gulf of Mexico but Americans are forbidden to drill, despite a court order? And what happens if the Chinese drilling off Cuba have some kind of accident? Or that decrepit Soviet-era nuclear plant in Cuba has a meltdown?
a key way of signaling you’re more important than other people. And richer, after a hit cars can not be black. It will show thru the paint. Silver is the computers colors so is the most used: "hip" Then white neutral color. Blue and red are widely used too. Black is hard to maintain and is the old generation color and you dont want to sell father´s car
Heh. Both of our vehicles are black because those were the vehicles at the dealership that had the options we wanted. Color is the least of my concerns when buying a car or truck!
There's a car talk show on my local conservative talk radio station, 610 AM. They just mentioned how most Toyotas today, are fully built in US plants. Camrys, Avalons, all the popular models.
But the majority of Priuses are still made in Japan.
So, I know! Those of you wanting cancer lickety-quick, just order yourselves a black Prius.

The DC area will be particularly hard hit, as being in a large, black vehicle is a key way of signaling you’re more important than other people.

When you get arrested by the secret police and they take you away in a powder blue van, it just doesn't inspire the right amount of dread.
There's a Nat X skit in there somewhere.
Ken, for pigments white is the absence of color, for light it is the combination of all component colors.
More fall-out.

Some good news, though. As General Lee orange isn't in short supply, hillbillies aren't affected.
