The better feast day is of course two day from now...

But happy birthday to your son.

Spoken like a true Mom - if not an Irish Mom (no mother is like an Irish mother, trust me).

Happy B-day, Jaltcoh

Aaah.

Mine are 17 and 15.

All those thoughts about:

"Why did I EVER have kids?"

are quickly replaced by:

"That was brilliant. It's the best thing I've ever done!!"

Of course, it takes 20-25 years for this to sink in.

I can't wait to be thirty. Then my mom and I will be the same age.

Happy Birthday!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

My wife tells me I'm only two posthumous miracles and being five years dead away from being a St. Patrick myself.

Staying single until you were in your 30s was traditional Irish birth control.

Gotta admit the kid is doing you proud. Evidently something you did worked out well.
