Couldn't agree more. Calls for violence, unacceptable. Superglue on locks, come on? For 1 month the majority of hundreds of thousands of people have protested peacefully. Ms. Althouse knows that.

No doubt. But, Democrats keep insisting that even the slightest intimation of violence (like carrying signs they don't like) completely discredits the Tea Party.

And, the Democratic dominated major media outlets toe this line, too.

So, which is it? Bad for both?

And, we do have real examples here of leftist calls for violence that seem to me to exceed anything I've seen of the Tea Party.

When I read that a "threat" was developing among liberals, to put a primary opponent in place for the 2012 cycle, I'm reminded that all is not well over in the other camp.

Besides, the Internet has been just spectacular at covering local stories. Here? I live near Pasadena. And, I come to see what's going on at the Rotunda in Madison, Wisconsin!

You bet, I've noticed the union ruckus crowd has disappeared.

William said...: In general, I wouldn't classify the Madison crowds as anymore anarchistic than the Tea Party people. That said, left wing causes tend to attract a younger crowd. They're more photogenic for the media, but also flakier. Shankman is definitely the kind of loose scraping that wouldn't be attracted to the Tea Party.....I would think the left should be aware of those risks and tone down their rhetoric-- especially after the way they came after Palin.....It is a truth universally acknowled that when people say it's not about the money, it's all about the money, This is a civil service dispute.
