This time, it's spit.

That's about it - sure, he probably sees his children with less frequency, but as a traveling pro, he probably didn't see them that much anyway.

Maybe he needs a new swing coach, again. His choice of Nike clubs is dubious, too.

Has he lost his focus? His drive to dominate? Golf is mental, and mentally he has to be a wreck.

So, which of those losses caused him start to suck on the course? My guess is the loss of his swing is what is causing him the greatest difficulty.

Does Tiger have a cold and came up with a nastier gob than he had thought? Has the European Tour come up with some new rules? Could this have something to do with the divorce? Does his ex get a percentage of his future earnings?

If so, might he be purposely earning less to avoid having to pay less alimony?

There was Donald Westlake story along these lines. A singer was in dispute with the IRS. He got framed for a murder and didn't defend himself until the IRS decided that he was guilty and would go after past earnings and let future earnings alone.

Soon as the ink was dry, he pulled out an iron clad alibi and got off of the murder charge.
