Hysterical. Love David Spade. Tolerate Radiohead. Honestly, as a former music geek, I have never understood why their albums are so critically acclaimed. I mean, they're good, no question, but damn...
Did Muse ever commit to that? I heard it bandied about and certainly Muse was on the loudspeakers at the TP events here in STL, but I don't remember reading anything about them owning up to an ideology.
Nah; they seem to be wise in playing their cards close to the vest, making me suspect they don't want to lose their friends, or their customers, which is fine.

I've been a big Muse fan for a long time and when Beck started to pimp them, they took off amongst the TP crowd too. I don't think they've ever copped to being conservative/libertarian, but their lyrics are clearly in that vain, if not around the objectivist bent.

I really hate him. And I don't know why.
OK, this is a gravely serious subject, a bain of our existence, and nothing to make light of.
David Spade, I mean. Strokes, those are hilarious.
Oh Althouse. You travel into uncharted waters from which few return. Youtube comments are not like the comments here.
Supposedly, this performance, in it's original context, was planned and purposeful.

Elaine on Steinfeld? White men can't dance?
David Spade, not quite.
Ernest T. Bass, YES!
Love Thom Yorke and this little performance cemented his non-serious side. It was lol worthy, but man, EAT A BURGER!!!
I've never heard of him till now, and with luck never shall again.
I like Radiohead. I've liked them since "Fake Plastic Trees."
"I really hate him."
Who?
I think David Spade was just having a complex migraine.
I want to marry Radiohead.
The video is hilarious.
Try the Scala & Kolacny Belgian girls choir version of Creep from the movie Social Netwrk. It just kills me.
Been waiting for Radiohead's new album.
I know Thom's a friggin' lefty, but wothtehell.
Anyway, their mutant offspring Muse are libertarians, so it's all cool.

Excessive burtation.
I like David Spade. If you hadn't mentioned him, I would not have made the 'connection'.
I have friends that are Radiohead fans, but they don't do anything for me. Not much has musically for quite some time. Including Beyonce'.
wv - etcha
Arah Alin ays: ou etcha!

Let's just say they seem Tea-friendly.
@Pogo
Thanks for the link to the Scala video. I remember it from the movie, but had not followed up on it.
David Spade is one of the few celebrities I envy.
@Triangle Man
I love their rendition of Smells Like Teen Spirit, too. This version shows them live in concert.
Haunting.
But I'm easily haunted.
Radiohead reminds me of high school.
Love those links Pogo, thanks.
Ok that's thirty seconds I won't get back.
I love Teen Spirit, but I can't imagine a worse song for such a choir interpretation. The words make no sense under such control.
I think the Pomplamoose version of this song is better than the original...
Who is Pomplamoose, you say???
Absolutely true, sonicfrog.
I does dig me some Pomplamoose!
Can't take the Pompaloose chick. She's Susannah Hoffs on steroids. Or crack. Or something.
"Susannah Hoffs on steroids"
Oh man, that's where I've seen that eye thingy before. Ha!
@bagoh20:
Tori Amos did the slow version a long time ago.

That's not what a person having a stroke looks like.

Pompaloose girl is autistic assbergers!!!!

Who?
David Spade. I don't know what it is, but he annoys me like no other.
Wow, Pompaloose is cool. Thanks for that.
