Let me guess. These three Ladies are Baby Boomers that believe they missed out on some experience somewhere that is just for themselves to enjoy, which is the only real purpose in life. Make it be true!
Was just reading a Stoughton man was arrested on his 6th OWI. Was pulled over for not having a license plate, and had a broken tali light out. I means seriously, how is it possible to be this dumb. That's a felony, have fun in prison.
AllenS: so true. Autumn used to bring a lot of sadness since my father died in October but now it is my lifeline during the intense heat and humidity of summer.
What is weirder? Unexplained bubbles of energy showing up in the galaxy or the stuff Rhhardin manages to find within biking distance of his own back yard?
I was already feeling a sense of amazed disbelief over his latest find when I followed the links to Deborah Butterfield's sculptures.
The whole sequence lifted my heart. From AA's 2nd photo of a human and a sculpture of a human with backs to each other replicating the same pose; to horses that shouldn't be and are.

Sometimes, it's just a matter of looking around, and then the realization, it's good to be alive.

Sorry. Wrong thread. No Boomers in sight here.
So can you see Canada from there?
I thought it would have been colder in Madison by now. What else are you hiding from me?
My son posted similar pics of the UW campus to Facebook today. Another beautiful fall afternoon...
The idyllic lives of the Meadehouse.
I for one would like to see another pic of her striding happily and confidently down the street.

It's in the 60s. Couldn't be prettier!

Deborah Butterfield imitator in the woods.
Bike commute
Just glanced at some Butterfields, and I'll take the one in the woods. Not that I'm in the market for a big, rusty horse, but it's nicely done.
Reprieve Temporare
On this hanging day
Before the curtain falls
The wish is it would stay --
Faint offstage drear duty calls.

This is a Butterfield I like.
Something that shouldn't be a horse but is a horse nevertheless.
What a lovely walk!
The oaks hold out.
And now they get to stand out.

Treasure in a field.
That is neat, rh. Kind of a Death Valley vibe.
The morning has begun here in west central WI, with a beautiful eastern orange sky.
