But Friday is when I don't cook and we go out. So it was Hungarian goulash with spaetzle for him, and for me, a nice little steak Diane... I only ate half.
OK. That having been said, FU, Meade. Now I'm gonna hafta do dat.
You eat well, Prof. I would have thought that a vegan or vegetarian pizza would be great. And, the photo with so much green, yellow, and red vegetables would be terrific. Hope you try sometimes. This is the food that we democrats eat to win.
That pizza reminds me of my daughter in law cooking just a fresh pizza dough with butter and garlic salt on top. She cut it into strips as the bread with the meal, and I could not get enough of it...especially the salt on it part.
I love homemade pizza. So many people only know how to make it from a box, but it's so much better if you make it yourself. And it's not particularly hardl some grocery stores will even sell you the dough.
"I just put some dough together! I love no-kneed bread for the crust, but I still love the rich breads with lots of milk and butter occasionally, too."
Julia Child's recipe for pain de mie (I use the one published in "From Julia Child's Kitchen") is wonderful, especially for toast and sandwiches!
And we, too, belong to the Perfex cult. Although the wavy washer and nut kept falling off after a couple dozen years of use. So I bought a nut with a nylon insert to keep it all together.
If a civil suit for emotional damages is the only remedy available to the Snyders, then so be it, however distasteful that might be.
And if the Phelps have a beef with national policy, they need to address that to our politicians and the general public "from the courthouse steps," or whatever; they may not accost/assault a private citizen not engaged in the debate, but only faithfully doing his/her duty as a citizen obeying properly enacted public policy.
Few people who know food would argue that the pizza I grew up on[brick oven 700 degrees, simple, w/ a LITTLE mozzarella] is the standard. We would drive to Wooster St. in New Haven for some of the best, but there were others almost as good throughout Ct. and New England.
Having lived in 7 different states, covering 3 time zones, I haved learned a fundamental fact. The best pizza for almost all people is what they ate growing up in their hometown. Whether it is that saltine cracker horseshit in St. Louis, that carbo loading mess in Chicago, or whatever it is they eat in Wi., which ALWAYS has 5lbs. of mozzarella on it. They should have a fucking prune topping option.
Ending on a positive note, that pizza looks pretty good for a Wasp.

Red wine goes with pizza.
Nom nom nom!
And bonus points for the Perfex French peppermill. I have one as well, and it's great!
That explains all the food crumbs around your workplace visible in the high resolution photo posted earlier!
Yes, nom, nom, Palladian.

Swedish meatballs, mushroom gravy over farfalle. Steamed broccoli with garlic butter. Butter lettuce and blue cheese salad.
Comfort food. It has been cold
Looking forward to trying out the bbq pizza. Looks great!
You hit paydirt when he proposed to you, Ann.
Give him a great big kiss when you go nighty-night.

If I visit...Meade can make me one too! I make a wicked garlic bread...
Size doesn't matter
"If I visit..."
Now wouldn't that be great if AA's commentariat just showed up one weekend? Not sure Meadehouse could supply everyone with steak pizza though. :(
Another piece of dark chocolate with just a splash of wine? Just a teeny weeny little wafer?
BTW, pita or nan makes a good mini-pizza crust when dough is not readily available or too time consuming. Hummus optional.

Meade made the dough. Yeast and all.
I just made a loaf of bread...I'm trying out different types.
Looks tasty!
I had a hot dog. Boy do I need to go shopping.

Here's mine.
Very Italian looking.

Althouse is obviously an evil meat eater like all those evil Rethuglicans. Democrats are all caring vegans.
I am a miserable, lousy cook. I try but usually fail. So I stick to just one or two things. I got pretty good at baking bread, however.
wv: taterr.. ha ha

I think complaining about the size of the meat belongs on a different thread.
Just sayn'
"They should have a fucking prune topping option."
