Oh wouldn't it be loverly, said My Fair Althouse Lady..."Someone's head resting on my knee, warm and tender as he can be, he takes good care of me"...said Liza Doolittle dreaming of what mattered the most to her.
@ GMay, sunny and mid-80s here in the Fort Myers area this afternoon. And it's been wonderfully cool in the mornings this week, down into the 60s, which is nice after a summer where it rarely got below 74. Hooray for autumn!
This is a cafe, so I will mention a big surprise on CNN the last two nights. I tuned in to see how bad Spitzer would look, and the dude was great. He asked hard, pointed questions to liberals and enjoyed it. The liberal guests seemed to accept being killed by a famous bad boy Democrat that they expected to be one of their own. But Spitzer was harder on the facts than O'Reilly ever pretends to be. His side kick, Parker used a sickening southern lady act to ridicule everything that she could pretend to be shamefully GOP . But Spitzer went after the Dems talking points with direct contradictions like a good cross examiner should. If CNN leaves him on, a star has been born
The weather sucks here in New England. All through the hot-n-muggy Summer I pined for a bit of cool so I could go for a long run. Now it's cool alright, but also rainy & windy. Hopefully the sunshine in the Mid-West will work itself this way in a few days.
Nice legs. You're always in pants or a long skirt (you got something against women in shorts, too?), you ought to show off the gams a little more.
And the specs are cute on you.
PS You're my most reliable weather man (girl/woman). I always know what it's going to be like here in two days (we've had rain forever), so keep those outdoor shots coming.
Never mind, Chip, I went straight to the source...
"Accept no substitutions. Simply put, this is the best guacamole on Earth. No brag, just fact.
The idea for this approach was lifted from a beginner Spanish textbook. It was illustrated with drawings, a little picture of an onion next to "cebolla," a drawing of a bulb of garlic next to "ajo," that sort of thing. Which makes its muy authentico-ness indisputable, and made it so that even a total illiterate able to decipher pictures could make it. Kind of like a Denny's menu. Egg-zakly like a Denny's menu. 'Cept differ'nt. I've made it this way ever since, and it's incomparable. Now, this is not just me blowing smoke either. Everybody, and I mean everybody goes, "Bo, this is the best ... *swoon* ... guacamole I've ever tasted! " So eventually, over time, I became convinced."

My dear lady your outfit does not appear to match?
Or are those special shoes of some sort?

That does look like a nice day. We're also having gorgeous weather down here in FL.
Wow, the trees are changing color fast. Compare the tree just to the right of the building with yesterday's picture.

powder blue shoes?
Yes.
Where are the customary ruby red slippers?
Did you lend them to a Senator?
Meade should take the professor out clubbing -- a dark and noisy dance club should make a nice change from so much healthy outdoor living.

Where's Waldo?

Baron Zemo: My dear lady your outfit does not appear to match?
Matching is kind of boring. I like the shoes, makes her stand out.
Clyde, it's been about the same up here in Ponte Vedra. That cool breeze is heavenly after that summer.
"Matching is kind of boring."
It's referred to as "matchy matchy." Not something you want to be.

Love the outfit. Thank goodness there's at least one political blogger with style out there!
Is this going to be a daily thing?
If so, when does the stalker become the stalked? That is, what does Meade look like as lurks? Most importantly; is he "matchy matchy"?
Not too shabby . . .

Again?
Last week Heidi Klum mentioned being too matchy-matchy on Project Runway wrt gold shoes matching gold piping on a suit.
Heidi's point: Chic women who dress with flair, who dress to express their personality, are fashion forward, and never want to be too matchy-matchy.
The blue shoes are definitely not matchy-matchy with anything we can see.
But that is okay.
Well of course she is not concerned with a good match.
Witness who is taking the photo!
Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha!
I like the Mary Janes. In fact I wish there was a Mary Jane equivalent for men. Penny Loafers? Huaraches? Nah.
Help, that déjà vu thing is happening again and it won't stop.
And you don't want to bore Nina.

Chip, any good guacamole recipes hanging around?
Is it widely suspected that Baron Zemo is a sockpuppet of someone in particular?
OK, you're a dish. Can we go back to blogging? ;)
