Nuts!

Better be careful, with acorns that size there must be monstrous squirrels nearby.

You seem to be regressing, actually.

I voted for Obama because he dog-whistled a plan for death panels for baby boomers... someone needs to put them out of their misery. Yet another Obama promise unfulfilled.

Maybe we need to privatize the enterprise, because patience is wearing thin.

If you've got to lug nuts, putting them in a basket should make the job easier.

But if you've got two lug nuts, you can just stick 'em in your pocket.

Don't put all your nuts in one basket.

What kind of math do acorns learn?

Geometry!

Even though the NJ Tea Party Coalition will not be "officially" participating as a group, I'm going to the rally against the mosque at Ground Zero.

At around 3pm at the corner of Park Place and West Broadway in Manhattan there will be a gathering.. I've been asked to only bring a small flag (if anything).. not to bring inflammatory signs.

I hope I'm not violating a blog rule posting about this.. It would be nice if someone from here shows up and says hello.

Comments like this and this on the following "Reflected Memory" thread remind me of just how vulgar, obsessed, and classless the leftist commenters here at Althouse can be.

No matter what the occasion or circumstances, they just have to get their hate on.

If I were going out to a 9/11 memorial event, I'd definitely be willing to pay for the privilege of being in a private venue that excluded people who behave like Beth and GasRage, regardless of whether Beck or Palin were there.

Dear XXXXXXXXXX,

Tomorrow is Markos’s birthday! Yep, Markos shares his birthday with 9/11, in a coincidence nobody would want – though I think Glenn Beck has been trying to get his own birthday moved to 9/11 for years.

As an impromptu birthday present to Markos, we’re asking people, one last time, to buy his new book, American Taliban

...

So buy the book already!

Stay shrill,

Like Beck's Restoring Honor Rally, The Alaska event is a fund raiser for the Special Operations Wounded Warrior Foundation. Even Politico sneeringly reported that Beck and Palin will not profit from the event.

FYI: Special Operations Warrior Foundation

The Warrior Foundation is currently committed to providing scholarship grants, not loans, to more than 800 children. These children survive more than 700 Special Operations personnel who gave their lives in patriotic service to their country, including those who died fighting our nation's war against terrorism as part of "Operation Enduring Freedom" in Afghanistan and the Philippines as well as "Operation Iraqi Freedom."

To date, some 160 children of fallen special operations warriors have graduated from college.

White oak acorns are edible. They are not as bitter as other acorns. First you boil them until the water turns brown. Then you roast them in the oven with salt and butter like shelled pecans. I’m told they taste like chestnuts. I don’t know, I’ve never tasted chestnuts. They were all killed by the blight.
