Which wedding are you not invited to:

Bristol Palin?

Chelsea Clinton?

This too shall pass--and not just the marriage(s).

God bless the Internet!

Will he be waving his Johnson on the show? Seems to be his main talent.

I'll only watch if there are explosions and fiery deaths.

Does this indicate Palin has no plans to run for national office again?

Well, if Sarah runs for President she'll have her embarrassing relatives in place. Nobody will have to go looking for her brother Billy or Roger or brother-in-law Tony Rodham.

This has 'train wreck' written all over it.

Oh, I totally called it. Do I have to link to my comment?

And where do you think they got the idea? Kathy Griffin.

What's with the cow in the image? Are they going to film it in Wisconsin? Couldn't TMZ find a whimsical moose?

Wasn't it already?

It's another brilliant move if Palin has realized that she can make lots of money and influence politics as sort of a conservative political Oprah. If she's running for president, it's stupid.

I therefore cling to my hope that she is not running for president.

But for the connection to Sarah Palin is there anything even remotely interesting about these two? They've just gotten out of high school, he doesn't have a job, she works in an office and they have a baby. And they've spent their lives --outside some time on the campaign trail-- in a little town in Alaska. I can go visit some of my relatives for that sort of entertainment, I don't really need to see it on TV.

Like many public figures, Palin seems to have raised an awful spiteful child. I can't see why she would do this other than to get back at her mother. First she couldn't keep her legs closed. Now she is going to whore herself out to reality TV. I feel bad for Bristol Palin. Anyone who shops a reality show has to live a sad life. Her mother should disown her and be done with it.

Well, Spencer and Heidi have flamed out. Someone has to fill the void. And I do mean void.

Nice, the Palin freakshow nonstop!

Nothing wrong with making a buck.

I'm with edutcher.

This is just plain sad.

Hush kids. Get married and get an apartment in Wasilla. Go to school. Go to work. Protect your kid's and your privacy. Please.

We do not want or need to know about your lives. And you really don't want us to either.

Or, it's inoculation.

My wife was watching a reality show last night when I came into the bedroom. Somewhat apologetically, she said she was into it, and wouldn't be interested in turning it off or changing the channel. It's the new one on Syfy Channel about a well-known psychic on Long Island and her family.

I couldn't believe it. I knew one of the people in the show!

I am fairly certain this was not his idea, but he is participating. It's actually an interesting show. But, it's odd to see someone you know involved.

My wife will not let me watch her reality shows with her because I can't help making snide comments. There's something about reality shows and women. They understand at a very conscious level that they should not find the shows appealing, but nevertheless they do.

I'm trying to think of the same thing for men? Strip clubs? Softcore porn on Cinemax late at night? The movie Point Break?

Help me out here.

Everyone loves Point Break. I was thinking more Robert Johnson. Women hate those old blues to their eternal shame.

Mercifully short article but it did have this fateful sentence fragment: "some of the ideas involve the couple AND their two-year-old son, Tripp."

These acorns sure didn't fall far from the tree.

In my brief stay among the family of men, I have seen over and over that children are seldom like their parents, but children are usually like their grandparents. It keeps us struggling and allows the kids to grow up and leave home, yet maintains family ties if are willing to forgive. This is just another piece of reality for the point guard to play her way through going for the win.

Ann ...If you keep posting this drivel you may Sully your reputation.

I was thinking about the "white trash" comment while away from the computer and thought "What a jerk ... all this tolerance being preached while epitomizing racism."(Who ever thinks "black" with "trailer trash?" See?)

Then I looked this morning and it was C4d.

Nevermind.

wv = worstr
Couldn't be.

KCFleming said...

The duration of a marriage is inversely proportional to the number of video cameras present.

Opus One Media said...

ohhh please!! let this show run for about 3 episodes, with critics howling and the public repulsed and Sarah drops in for a visit to set the kids on the right path....and announces her run for president...all before the first commercial.
A limit to good taste but obviously no limit to bad?

House, take off the partisan glasses. Like her or not, other than marrying a high school sweetheart, I believe Sarah Palin's early marriage was quite a bit less "public" and more "low key" than her daughter's.
