Having spent a good deal of my life working at night, now that I have a "regular" job, I still find it hard to get to sleep before midnight...and I have to be at work at 0630 each day.
The real tragedy is how I choose to spend all of those extra hours. I strongly suspect the 70-year-old me is going to be livid at the current me. Even knowing and acknowledging that, I still sacrifice those hours at the alter of "me time".

Priorities get you over the line.
Eating (sandwiches) so late will lead to heartburn, acid reflux, and eventually GERD.
