I think it was a Doonesbury cartoon a while back that featured the town of Wiltsborough Pennsylvania, populated entirely by the conquests (and progeny) of the famous Mr. Chamberlain. He once scored a hundred times in one evening, so I am told.
I think he'll be up and down for awhile but soon enough he'll be the favorite every time he plays. The history of sports is filled with great achievements by otherwise loathsome characters. He just needs to adjust from that being a private concern to a public one.
Meanwhile, Bret Michaels is expected to emerge from the woods, Sandra Bullock's relocation to New Orleans is well under way and Lindsay Lohan's judgment continues to be questionable.
Well, as to the catshark thing, the first image that jumped to my mind was that animated guy (different characters, same visages) driven crazy by the Pink Panther way, way, way back in the earlier incarnations of that cartoon.
Sorry, Lem. We were cross-posting in the sense that I was off checking if particular videos are currently available online when you posted your link, and then I posted before looking back. I appreciate your getting the visual reference.
Maybe he missed the cut on purpose. That way he would look more normal, an average golfer, an average man. If this is a pattern, then he's done, but if he makes some kind of a comeback, well then, the golf announcers will be putting their pink lips on his black ass, like they did before the famous car accident/golf club upside the head.
In golf you get to tee the ball up and then it sits there waiting to be hit. In baseball you have to hit a ball thrown low and away or high and tight traveling 90 MPH. And they call golf a sport. Hah.

When you are banging over 120, it's had to keep below the par.
Happy hour here.

Tiger's such a piker.
This is not going to be as easy as he thinks.
(hey, this new iPad is pretty cool!)
A strangely human Tiger.
He should ask Elin. She has quite swing.
What will he do with the free time?

Who cares about him? What does he have to do with baseball anyway?
BTW, is he one of the people who made enough or too much money? Is it fair?
Tiger Woods misses the cut... by 8 shots... and the NYT tells us who won some 8 paragraphs into the story.
"You have to let it go," Woods said. "It's like baseball -- you go 0-for-4 two days in a row"..
Its nothing like baseball.. in baseball you got your teammates to pick you up.. in golf its just you.
I am glad to see this thread! Time to put baseball-glove-leather-fish-face-getting-a-dental-cleaning to sleep.
You are not the only one... its been giving me the creeps.
Hi Lem! The more I looked at it, the more Mr. Limpet started to look like a long-lost relative.
Do you think this fishman looks like Tiger??
Meanwhile, Bret Michaels is expected to emerge from the woods, Sandra Bullock's relocation to New Orleans is well under way and Lindsay Lohan's judgment continues to be questionable.

If you have relatives that look like that, it's time to get a new family.
@edutcher (Something I've said before:) "You have no idea."
@readeriam That catshark and Sammy Davis Jr. both have one wonky eye.

this one
Omigod. We bought a Pink Panther set on DVD as soon as it was available, now years and years ago.
Therefore, I had no reason to know--until I was inspired just now to check--that the first episode, which contains the exact snapshot of the referred-to image that jumped to mind, is now available on YouTube.

Maybe the problem is that he's been swinging too much! Hard on the arm!
ahhh an interchangeable expression..good for home, life, personal ethics and golf.

Tiger never misses the cut.
