Life in the big city is so much better in areas that permit trial lawyers can sue the careless droids that can so easily excuse their failures to use reasonable care taking procedures doing Government work.
We also have the four-foot Icicles of Damocles, but there are no city workers knocking them off our roof. When I do it, I swing the shovel, then step back.

More evidence that global warming kills. Gore lied. People died.
It's never a good idea to isolate yourself so totally from your environment.
A local iPod wearing jogger lost her life when a tree crashed onto her.
She never saw it coming.
WTF? We have snow and ice in this country and I never heard of roof sweepers doing this work. Is this more government make-work?
The linked article is all about the icicles, but where do the iPods come in?
