I saw my meerkat idea copied online, a cartoon used for a website. Their cartoon is a precise duplication of one I drew for an anim a long time ago called Transgenic Meerkats in which two meerkats are wearing army helmets. One sentry is using binoculars and the other is yelling into a radio "RED TAIL AT 2:00!" The next scene is third Army meerkat firing a cannon and blowing a hawk to bits. Their version copies the meerkats with binoculars and radio. Even so closely as how the meerkat is holding the radio. Can you imagine how odd it was to see that exact scene in someone else's drawing?
And the bastards didn't even acknowledge my nonsense. I mean my effort. Harumph. I feel so used. Anyway, now I have that scene worked out in pop-up form. But not yet the actual card. I'm rounding the bend and nearly finished. The rest isn't all that much to figure out.

Not if someone brings a sleeping bag. If we all curl up together, things should warm up nicely.

Am I the only one who finds this shot in the Oval Office a bit too 'last supper-y' for comfort?
We had our third snow this winter in Atlanta a few days ago.
Peggy Noonan on why the Republicans won't be standing next to Obama with a health care bill
And the third reason is that the past decade has taught them what a disaster looks like, and they’ve lost their taste for standing next to one.
