I just finished watching all three seasons of Deadwood. I had never watched it before, and I was hooked from episode number one.
It seems like this time of year is filled with psychological desolation and existential angst. Somehow watching that TV show helped me make sense of life, although I can't say how in any more specific terms.
Now on to an interesting-looking book: The Philosophical Baby: What Children's Minds Tell Us About Truth, Love, and the Meaning of Life, by Alison Gopnik.
HAHA!!! It didn't take long for Scott Brown to turn and he's cheap too. $15 billion is all it took for him to make it happen. Oh, that's right, it's not like this wasn't predicted was it? Oh yeah, and the only reason he ran and won was to oppose President Barely's foray into healthcare for the whole country. Let's just see how he fares with that. I've got my popcorn ready.
I'm listening to the radio and the Twin Cities radio station 105.3 just ran an advertisement by helpwanted.com, and in the commercial a man's voice said: "bingo bango." Where'd that come from?
I look at that photo and think of what it must have been like to be a voyageur crossing that landscape three hundred years ago.
Bleak is hardly the word.

Ha Ha, yourself.
Brown's vote even has some conservative support. http://hotair.com/archives/2010/02/22/oh-my-scott-brown-to-vote-with-dems-on-obamas-jobs-bill/
It cost less than McConnell was willing to settle for. There was going to be some bill, if only to extend unemployment in an election year.
Though it doesn't cut any ice with me, the vote kills the whole Party of No and Government is Broken memes in the view of some just before Barry's big dog-and-pony show.

Looks bleak to me . . .
Just my mood, I think.

Enough of winter. Give me spring!

That is so close to being an excellent photograph.
Damned Comcast has cut all cable channels above 23 for me, unless I buy a digital converter for the upstairs.
