Looking at that Teapot i thought of the tea party of course but I also (almost at the same time) thought of the Teapot Dome Scandal US History 101 and my first history professor in his leisure suit.
We used to watch film of news events of that week on fridays I think it was. It was like news reels but current.. part of the reason why politics holds my interest is suppose.
I used to know all of the names of Reagan's cabinet.
Oh, and I watched Antiques Roadshow this week too -- because it's the Madison show. I really liked the reaction of the lady who had the Mike Royko/Sinatra letter.
Madison Man watch TLC's "What Not to Wear" this Friday at 9pm as Lee Lee's Valise will be on. With Gina from St. Louis a professor who does not know how to dress. (I swear that is true, I am not making that up)

I could never be a cameraman on American Idol. How intrusive they are!
Still, I do guess that the failures knew what they were getting into.
What to add to our cup of reflection - honey, lemon, or milk?
"...you can pour yourself a big cup of reflection."
I was just about to say, "After YOU, my dear."
But then? I had another thought, and somehow, got sidetracked...
Sorry, Althouse, you were saying?
All I could think of was: "Who made the USA into a Pinata?" Then, the next thought was: "Why?"
Well?
At Tea Parties we don't drink the government's tea. We do revolting things to it. But that sure is a purty pot.
You can reflect as long as you don't meditate.
Medication, not meditation! :)

It has a ring to it - Teapot Dome.. Tic-tac-toe.
I'm still reflecting on the Gottlieb thread. Like you, I took a look at the Katz website. Oy.

Thief! Escher steals Althouse's camera.
Oops. Spaced the link.
If they ever do a movie about the US men's snowboarding team, Sean Penn is going to have to play everybody, dude.
MadisonMan, I thought you didn't have a TV! And now you're watching Idol!!
What changed your mind?
Like you, I took a look at the Katz website.
OK, out of curiosity, I just went back to look at it. Oy indeed. What a racket.
I love art museum gift shops.
Does the teapot whistle?
"What a racket."
Indeed, knox.
So what do you say to those not playing "net" games?
Winter olympians, for example?
Backyard luge.
I don't like art teapots--they don't work as well as the traditional teapots--the Brown Betty.
After 7 months of un, I am again employed.
I guess I won't be making middle-of-the-day comments anymore.
Teabag + microwave works best of all.
We have a TV down in the cold dark basement. Idol is one show I will occasionally watch.
I watch Glee, too, but on DVD. My daughter is a big fan and she won't let me watch it in real time.
