My favorite political commentator – and fellow pot-smoker – Dan Carlin talks about Tea Partiers and Sarah Palin in his latest Common Sense podcast episode. He offers some really insightful... uhhh.... insight. The Sarah Palin bits are particularly juicy. Basically he says that she's destined for Emperorhood because she's a popular Republican (ex-)governor of a Western state like Bush and Reagan were, that she's a hot MILF and Americans like to vote for good-looking people, and because Americans will always choose the populist "common man" outsider over an educated elite outside such as Gingrich.
I thought one of the blonde female skaters in tonight's Olympic pairs competition (Canadian Anabelle Langlois?) bore a strong resemblance to the owner/hostess of this Nightclub. It was the hair and smile that made me take notice and make the comparison. Only to later find the perfect post in which to place this observation!
I miss LC. But I like Heidi more than I used to (Enzo! So cute!). Audrina has a weird face that I can't turn away from. Mostly I watch for the luminous aerial photography at dusk between the scenes. I certainly don't watch for Justin Bobby who is the skeeziest piece of boy meat ever presented for consumption. A big negatory there.

Andy Warhol, Frank Stella, Richard Artschwager.
"and because Americans will always choose the populist "common man" outsider"
Yes, like that down-to-earth man-of-the-people Barack Obama. He's about as common as men come.
JRH,
Which is why people should not smoke wacky weed.

Its interesting when both come together.
I found this rendering of Sarah Palin without makeup to be intriguing.
Think she'd have gotten so popular without makeup?
Think she'd have gotten so popular without makeup?
Lets see a popular with makeup.
In the glittering superficialities category:

I'm guessing she's supposed to look ugly without makeup, but -- like most of the commenters at your link -- I don't see much of a difference.

No more than Barry Soetaro.
At the blogpost cafe you can post on your blog about a blogpost in a cafe.
("Yo, dawg. I heard you like blogging and cafes, so I put a cafe in your blog so you can blog cafe while you cafe blog!")
My favorite political commentator – and fellow pot-smoker ...
Pot smokers really like to let others know they smoke pot. They'll work it into any conversation.
