"Keep Your Surprisingly Capacious Bowls, I've Got a Freakin' Fruit-bearing Tree in My Backyard."
We laughed at his "brilliant detective work," but XWL got his revenge with suculento photographs and an "I blame Althouse" tag.

I give his detective work a B+.
To paraphrase Mrs. Doubtfire when someone threw fruit at Pierce Brosnan's head --
It's a run-by sleuthing!
Cheers,

Oh, and congrats of course, XWL!
I read that as "Keep your surprisingly capacious bowels, I've got a freakin' fruit-bearing tree in my backyard."
I didn't realize my mistake until clicking the link. I'm glad to see irregularity is not the main topic of discussion on Althouse....

It would be if she were a German blogger. Germans always talk about their bowel movements.
XWL, checked your blog, really neat pictures. It makes me nostalgic -- my parents home had a huge lemon tree and another that was a cross between lemon and orange (it has great flavor, almost like too sour with some bitter notes, grape fruit). We had coconuts too.

I blame watching this show for my use of "freakin'" as an adjective.
And my post isn't revenge so much as an homage.
Poking around this website and seeing all the great photos was in part what inspired me to pick up my own Nikon DSLR.
My bank account is a bit slimmer, but it has been an enriching hobby, so thanks for the inspiration.
(The "I Blame Althouse" tag goes all the way back to last summer, and other than the first post, have all been photo related)
I love me some XWL, and XWL his own self, as I have from Day One of encountering him...
... here, as it happens, years ago.
(And Icepick, too, among others--while I'm at it.)

Sorry folks, just reliving the glory a bit.
Also, (3 oranges per juice glass x 2) x 7 = both healthy&restrained rendering of breakfast juice
