Everyone was looking for a pumpkin.
What? You want a pumpkin?
Surely, you jest.
Yes, in fact, we didn't want to carry a pumpkin around the square.
We bought purple potatoes. They look a little ugly, so we're thinking they'll taste sublime.
Also...
... a kale bouquet.

Kale bouquet? Only if you are planning on frost for the dining room table.
once again, the gourd man is ignored.
I bet the guy in the second photo is a Democrat.
Almost as sure of it as the black momma with 3 chilluns with her in Illinois photo'd buying lobsters with food stamps.
Colorful
Buy the big red pumpkin/gourd to make a santa claus
Kale, kale, the gang's all here.
The autumnal vegetables are looking grand!
Looks chilly up there in Madison. It's 88 F here again today and I'm darned tired of it.
Yesterday started out chilly and grey with snow in the forcast but ended up warmer and sunny. Today it's nearly 60 degrees and partly cloudy, yet the little weather icon on my iPhone is rain. Accuracy would be appreciated, but if they're going to be wrong, this the direction I prefer.
It's 57° here now.
It did start out kind of cold yesterday morning when these pics were taken.
I made blue potato salad a few times this summer - delicious and a visual treat!
The blue food confers immortality.
Pumpkins go with gourds, indian corn on the cobs, and mums to decorate for Thanksgiving entertaining. Add some fall colors of candles and tablecloths and enjoy.
Hey, pumpkin? Honey?
No, I don't want a pumpkin and stop calling me honey.
Purple potatoes are very tasty. At least Trader Joe's purples are.
I predict you two'll grow your own pumpkins next year.
Just a prediction.
