At the Natural Bridge.

I went up to Natural Bridge State Park 4 years ago.

Today, I went back... armed with my fisheye lens:

Lovely bridges looking lovely in your late summer.

You're all about bridges, really.

Thanks... but it is 2 views of the same bridge.

I don't know. Maybe it's a bridge 2 the same view.

Any possibility of finding a non-Wikipedia page about the site and linking to that instead? WP is little more than a disinfo site, and the more links they have - even to inconsequential entries like the one here - the higher they'll turn up in search results and be able to mislead people.

For a quick example, consider this smear of Rush or this incident clearly showing how their rules can be abused. In the latter case, WP was helping a (per them) "reliable source" (the NYT) mislead people at the same time as they were keeping the truth out of an entry based on the pretext that the source for the truthful statements were not "reliable sources".

For a case directly involving me, do a find for "WP-unciteable sources" here. I'm the first "WP-unciteable source" listed and, even though my opinion is probably correct I'm not "citeable" while someone who's opinion is probably incorrect is.

It's somewhat amazing to see bloggers still linking to Wikipedia despite the very low regard that most at Wikipedia have for them.

You do have a concealed carry permit, don't you? They're awfully hard to get in Wisconsin.

I'm in a part of far northern Wisconsin today where a "threesome" is a guy, his pickup truck and a big dog.

Excellent travelogue Professor. I am learning more about Wisconsin than I ever expected to learn without a vacation trip there. Wisconsin seems like a perfect olace except during the frozen winter months.
