I am exhausted too. Yesterday a patron went beserk in the library, threw books at staff, threatened other patrons, hit some folks in before he was apprehended and carted away. Ironically, the managers & supervisors were in a class on Public Safety in the Library, which was being taught by a county policeman. When he was called out of the meeting, he appeared to think it was either a joke or a set up but he did subdue the maniac until backup could get there.

It's been a long hard week: watching all you fighters parrying with MUL, disparaging Letterman, swatting that pesky mosquito Jeremy, and all the time keeping your rapier wit ready for whatever Althouse was going to throw at you next. And you came through it totally unSULLIED.
I'm with MadisonMan. Due to some well placed holidays and vacation days, this was the first 5 day week I've worked in a couple of weeks. Man, that's hard to readjust to.
"Deb, I believe that's the same rose we saw on Thursday. Camellia Japonicas bloom much earlier. Mine has bloomed in a warm January before." You're right, stupid me. I should have realized that. We had camelias which bloomed in December down here.

Chicory is out on the roadsides. Unlike lesser flowers, it will be there all summer.
Yes, here comes the weekend. I won't be posting for a while, maybe a week. I'm on my way up nort' to the Boundary Waters.
Just in time. I'm exhausted.

Sounds like Jeremy. Was he using the intenet?

Guys, this Bud's for you.
Drink up. Monday it starts all over.
Only two more working days until Monday 8-(

I don't know; I was in the meeting having coffee and donuts. Does Jeremy have cornrows, carry a bible, and talk to himself on the library steps?

I've had a good start to the weekend - the houseguest and I watched "The Beguiled".
(Did you know that you can see that for free, from a link to Hulu.com on the IMDB?)
I have a section of my blogroll labelled "Through Althouse." It is in alphabetical order. That means AlphaLiberal heads the section. Heh heh heh.
Incidentally, if there's a regular Althousian's blog I've missed, do let me know, especially if you are the author.

From that angle, it does look more like a camellia than a rose, but the leaf is wrong.
