When (and how) did "neck-beard" become a pejorative?
Neck-beard, real close I think to being a weenie-wagger.
I had to go to Urban Dictionary for "neck-beard". It's fun to pick up a new perjorative term isn't it? ... something that isn't completely worn out.
Choad seems like a better definition for Mr. Douthat. It's a fine Anglo-Saxon word of ancient vintage, which describes people like him quite well.
this guy had pre-marital sex?
Maggie wins!!!
What a remarkably dull, sexless, unattractive, tedious man.
And Douthat is not much better.
Just kidding, love Brian Lamb. But not in that way.
Douthat's gawdawful voice perfectly matches the face, neck beard and his useless perspective on things.
Sorry, folks, but by law, the term "neck-beard" is the registered trademark of William Empson.
