Is this like the football rankings with a regional bias for at least the best school or two from every region? Whoever does the selecting knows that answer. My school is in the top 20 this year, so they must have continued to be very liberal in their political values this year, since we have no football team.
Critical Badger, send email! I see what I see and link to the blogger that made me see it. Paul Caron sent email. I would have preferred to link to you. As for ATL, I rarely read it anymore, so I missed that too.
Back in 2003 or 2004, my law school alma mater was solidly in the Top 20. Now it's hanging onto #30 by a thread.
Not surprising, given a few things. While I'm sad to see the value of my degree undergoing such a dramatic decline, I'm glad that there's some concrete measure of accountability.

Dang, I knew I shoulda gone to Bloomington.
Also, how can Pepperdine rank so high when their most famous alum had to leave the Governorship in disgrace?
That guy needs a shave, and his hair is going the wrong direction.
Dude, get some Brillo and slick it back.
Weep, celebrate... whatever.
But above all, Buy The Magazine!
You should recognize the UW-Madison blogger who leaked this first...
Maybe Ron Reagan can help them with that leakage problem.
Erik,
Thanks for the props. Indeed, it appears according to ATL, I had the leak first. Weeee.

Ah, my Emory moves into the top 20. Vanderbilt, we've got our eyes on you.
A preponerance of Big Ten 11 schools, with only the "Feed The World" Aggie schools, missing.
When will Notre Dame learn?

My work blocks the site. I am sure however that my alma mater still ranks 4th among the three law schools in its state.
They don't call it Useless News and World Report for nothing.

Rumor has it that Al Qaeda plotted a terrorist attack to underwrite 4 new law schools in the US.
