MadisonMan said...: Constructive criticism can help. I very constructively criticized Mr. Bush, frequently and concretely, about his (Bush's) terribly poor communication skills in justifying why his administration was doing what is was doing.

If only Bush had listened to me, the country would be in a far better place. (So would the Republican Party).

My constructive criticism of Obama so far is that he listens too much to the left side fools in the Democratic Party, and he too quickly throws good money after bad.; 3/9/09, 9:54 AM

Don’t you think it should all be constructive? Isn’t that part of your whole problem? I mean, if I were offering criticism of Obama it would include what I think he’s doing wrong, what he could do to change that, etc..etc.. Interesting that he’s admitting he has no idea how to be constructive. When you spend 8 years name calling, you start to think that’s the only want to disagree, I guess.; 3/9/09, 11:07 AM

former law student said...: From what I read in The Progressive real liberals were not impressed by Obama, seeing him merely as the lesser of two evils. Editor Matt Rothchild, for example, won't be happy until Obama prosecutes Rumsfeld for his war crimes.

On that subject, The Progressive is having a libfest May 1 and 2 to celebrate their centennial, right in Madison, Wisconsin. Wouldn't it be great for Professor Althouse to blog her meetings with Jesse Jackson, Barbara Ehrenreich, Dennis Kucinich, and Jim Hightower?
