The anguish of the liberal blogger.

What can you say after your guy wins?

Constructive criticism can help. I very constructively criticized Mr. Bush, frequently and concretely, about his (Bush's) terribly poor communication skills in justifying why his administration was doing what is was doing.

If only Bush had listened to me, the country would be in a far better place. (So would the Republican Party).

My constructive criticism of Obama so far is that he listens too much to the left side fools in the Democratic Party, and he too quickly throws good money after bad.

"I'm sorry" might be a good start.

What drivel. Kos is an unapologetic amoral and crass sub human whose only philosophy is my way or the highway.

Well, at least, NOW they openly admit that their criticism was aimed at being destructive.

Destruction of the President, the Administration, defeat in Iraq at the expense of the Nation was always their goal.

Yay......They won!

God help us, indeed.

"I think our challenge is that line from destructive criticism to constructive criticism, because there is going to be criticism," Markos Moulitsas, founder of DailyKos.com, said in a recent interview. "The issue is how we manage that and it's a fine line and it's very tough sometimes."

It would help if they'd had any *experience* with constructive criticism.

I really doubt that people who have been grinding axes and in unhinged hate mode for eight years will be able to flip on the "constructive criticism" switch.

Once they piss off George Soros and the others who see them as useful idiots then they will be done.

True.

As time goes by, it seems to me that everytime I see Markos' face it's a little fatter. What do you think?

Don’t you think it should all be constructive? Isn’t that part of your whole problem? I mean, if I were offering criticism of Obama it would include what I think he’s doing wrong, what he could do to change that, etc..etc.. Interesting that he’s admitting he has no idea how to be constructive. When you spend 8 years name calling, you start to think that’s the only want to disagree, I guess.

I have to say, there's a certain relief to having the other guy screwing the pooch for awhile.

On a related note, is it just me, or have our lefty friends have been AWOL lately?

No..garage is still here, inbetween trying to salvage his 73 Pinto and keep the gas tank from exploding. I think that Michael has yet another sock puppet.

Wasn't sure to enter this here or in the Axelrod post, but it's what I'm listening to over lunch.

From what I read in The Progressive real liberals were not impressed by Obama, seeing him merely as the lesser of two evils. Editor Matt Rothchild, for example, won't be happy until Obama prosecutes Rumsfeld for his war crimes.

On that subject, The Progressive is having a libfest May 1 and 2 to celebrate their centennial, right in Madison, Wisconsin. Wouldn't it be great for Professor Althouse to blog her meetings with Jesse Jackson, Barbara Ehrenreich, Dennis Kucinich, and Jim Hightower?

Not to mention Robert Redford.

Will Kucinich be here in the flesh, or only through astral projection?

You can always spend your time calling the opposition "traitors". And who knows--maybe some of the actually are?

DaLawGiver said...

Blogging is to liberals what talk radio has been for conservatives:

So who then is the real leader and intellectual power of the Democratic party, Markos or Jane?

OM,

"Will Kucinich be here in the flesh, or only through astral projection?"

Could you explain how to tell the difference?

He is the intellectual power of the democrat party.

Not sure, Kirk. Maybe shake his hand and see if he has substance?

"We want to be responsive to people, to what constituents want," Hamsher said. "Not what the corporations want.""

Because corporations have no people. No one working there. No one supplying them. No one investing retirement money in them. No people here. Nope.

I imagine a fair percentage will simply become hateful, rabid "conservatives" or adopt an even further left stance.

The point was the rant, after all.

To the extent these folks have prospered, its been confined, up to now, to an absolute prime time for the message.

Give them a few years where the side they sold their soul to, is in power. Rush Limbaugh has a 20 year record and independent finacial success. Hard to be ferociously hateful and ugly now and attrack big numbers going after Mitch McConnell and Mitt Rommney.

paul a'barge said...

Well to start with you could say you're sorry.

After all you've screwed America.

Eric said...

Try again. I don't think he's got much in the way of substance no matter how he appears.
