Just saw the weirdest bit on CNN.

It flew Camille Paglia up to Mt. Redoubt, the Alaska volcano. She was wearing this red gown with a red hood, inspecting the entrails of a crow, with the mountain in the background. She was ranting about Bruce Springsteen and flicking organ bits into a bronze tray of glowing coals.

Hmm ... apparently the death of scores of foreigners in a once-in-a hundred year natural disaster doesn't even rate a comment on this site. As opposed to 25 comments on a photo of a muddy parking lot.

Meh. It's Australia in the summertime. They have a lot of bush. Thusly bad fires.
