And, some of us really like the fact that he sent another sublimely unqualified senator to Washington and confounded the idiots in charge of his party.

My understanding was that he refused to participate, and then complained that he was not allowed to participate. Who could have possibly suspected that the bad smell was emanating from this flower pot? Duke Cunningham, Mark Foley et al are products of a culture of corruption. Beth said...: MadisonMan - it's true; we loved us some Edwin around here, for the entertainment value. But we finally put him in jail. And even that was entertaining for the first couple of attempts. He kept slipping through the noose.

Now we're stuck with Ray Nagin. He is as narcissistic as Blago, but without the entertainment factor. He's just a destructive force with no accompanying blowsy charm.; 2/5/09, 11:24 AM
Revenant said...: People eager for entertaining and flagrant corruption should move to Memphis. The mayor there is quite a piece of work. His response to accusations of corruption during the last mayoral race was to change his campaign slogan to "Shake Off the Haters".
